Well, Samsung also makes good phones, but while Samsung berate the iPhone, it is perhaps time to shout for an update to KIES. It SUCKS, bottom-line. I went for the Wave 8500 and, despite being good hardware, the apps were very, very limited. Bada, itself was a half-cooked affair. Hoped to get things sorted out with a firmware update, got an update, but was unable to update it through KIES.
There was an option to jailbreak it an have it updated with an unofficial 1.2 update, but not being one to go for jailbreaks, didn't go that way.
Galaxy S is cool, and with Android, better option in terms of applications, but with Android allegedly picking code from Sun/Oracle Java, the 'free' advantage may disappear.
Anyway, this is about the iPhone 4 & having given up my Wave (after barely 2 months of use) for an iPhone, it's the best switch I've ever made. The Super Amoled display was vibrant for sure, but Retina Display is in a class of its own, class. No memory full problems and the look: I drool at it every time I have it in my hand.
Without bitching or berating any other device or manufacturer, the experience has been 'superlative', and believe me, I'm no fanboy. This is my first iPhone and I love it and I'm saying this having graduated from a few flagships from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, HTC & recently, Samsung...

I love my iPhone 4 more thn my girlfren, and I don't understand why so many people like to drink OJ since Apple juice taste better. It's a great juice, but if you don't like it, it's okay, feel free to choose Kiwifruit. But get over it, there's more to life than just juices.
PS: The fresh quality of the apple is unmatched. Same thing about it's juice! Eat it Eat it don't u wanna Eat it Eat it... Apple!

Iphone is OVERPRICE. If you think that U are too rich and has a lot of money but dont know what to with the much of money, then Iphone is your perfect choice.
If U looking for a smartphone that can do everything than just a phone, I suggest U buy Nokia E72. With a lower price (3:1), 3 E72 equal to 1 Iphone4. Think about it.

Iphone is electronic art, it's a toy. It's beautiful but can do nothing. Can it do simple/basic smartphone job like sharing internet to the laptop or ipad? Do people remember that iphone become the first smart phone that couldn't forward SMS? LOL. And it is so expensive.
