Forget what it can do....let's think about what it can't do "Make calls"!!!! Isn't that the whole and intended purpose of the phone in the first place? If used for anything else I might as well carry a netbook! lol

Great phone overall. Regular iOS updates to keep it fresh and solving any important issues as well.
Although there are lots of games and entertainment with this phone through apps, this phone is great for the professional as well. I'm a doctor, and I can't think of using any other phone. Apps to keep myself organized, important patient notes kept confidential, a whole database of drug information (hospital standard)...and its always nice to listen to some music, watch a movie, or play a game when we finally get some time to relax.
I had a Samsung Galaxy S before I bought the iPhone. I wish I had never used the Galaxy - its a joke compared to the iPhone.

Just like some cretins claim iphone did a lot of things first. The technology was all there. Made by other phone companies and technology companies.

i have compared... moreYou are free to have your opinion, but I noticed that you trivialized the games and apps part "good for JUST games and apps". This is one of the big strengths of iPhone, which every other platform is trying to emulate.
It might not mean much to you, but it is one of the main reasons for the iPhone's success. A lot of people like how the apps can enable the iPhone for what they want to do.
So to sum up, put things in proper perspective. I wouldn't say "sure the Lambo is good just for driving fast, but I tried going on holiday with my 8 kids and it was so uncomfortable!" lol

i have compared both and that is why i am commenting here.....even gsmarena did a comparison between the 2 and galaxy outperformed iphone....
for internet browsing flash is very important and iphone lacks that.....iphone has a comparitively smaller display and is heavier in weight,which is again a bad thing.....iphone supports microsim...which is not available on every carrier and cutting our own SIM sounds too lame....and the list of things that the iphone can't do but galaxy s can do continues...
all iphone is good at is games and apps,and most of them being paid.....for games i would always prefer a ps3 anyway.....
