I generally think the iPhone 4 is a great bit if kit...yes fair enough they had a few problems at the beginning but hey they got it all sorted without complaining and fair play to them...also a reply for the comment about jailbreaking...if you are complaining about people being cheap skates for not wanting to pay the handset price then look who's talking your complaining that it cannot be jailbreaked...if your so happy to spend your money then what is the big deal about paying for the applications...?
Anyway for those who are actually interested in the latest technology i woiuld highly recommend the iPhone 4...
[deleted post]good point about jailbreaking. 9-10 months ago i was gonna buy an iphone 3GS as a secondary unit to the N900 i had at the time. But, my life does not allow for operator locked fones since i live in 2 countries, and i always been against operator locks, i love freedom, im not into north korean cellfones...
the point is, i could not buy a 3GS, they are not for sale, i had to buy i from a network provider, with a plan. So not onli was the 3GS a bad fone, you couldnt even buy it in a way that was acceptable. And now i checked and could not find factory unlocked iphone 4 in any country im frequently in.
You cant use it as you like ok, but cant buy it also? I dont want a second hand raped (jailbreaked) unit that some g@y iphone lover had in his pocket next to his sweaty balls. Put that to my face to receive a call? In ur dreams ahahah
I want to buy iphone 4 factory unlocked from sweden but i don't know how i can find its price???
please help me!!!!
I think this is the perfect phone, but, this technology very exclusive.
I last charged my phone on Sunday and my battery is now at 40%. I have browsed, made and reieved calls. I have also made text messages.
The reason why the battery is still standing strong?
I have turned off my WIFI and 3G. I keep them off unless I need to browse. They eat the battery and dont need to be kept on 24/7.
[deleted post]Not everyone is the same. Some people like to buy sports cars and enjoy the driving. Others actually enjoy the fine tuning and modifying. They're both different, no point calling either group idiot. Is the guy who buys a sports car an idiot for not wanting to mess about with the engine?
Some people like tinkering with their phone, in which case maybe an Android would be more suitable. Some prefer to buy a phone and just play games. Some want a phone with easy interface and minimal tinkering.
Not everyone is an IT person you know.
As i am using it from last 5 monts i say that the performance is poor and it does nt hav camera clearity.......
For the sake of name its being used.....

Great phone indeed, am impressed but would have been nice if it could send files to other phones via bluetooth (haven't played much with bumper) just to mention one.
i brought my iphone 4 this saturday and i must tell you this is the best smartphone on the planet.I have used android ,symbian and bb before this but ios mobile os is the best awesome going for smartphone gor for iphone every penny for it is worth
iPhone controls YOU instead of you controlling it. A bit more open then this is the best.
iphone4 and SGS user...
mine is 3 days old now and i say this is one heck of a technology! I am used to iPod Touch so the navigation for iPhone 4 is basically much the same, however I am not happy with the battery life esp when wifi is on.
iPhone 4 rock anyways!!
CASH, 20 Dec 2010best protective case for iphone 4?if you want the anti glare ones, go for Power support.
and if you want the crystal ones go for SGP.
you can find different kinds in their websites.
I would also like to add that I do wish bluetooth worked as with other phones. And that the file managing was better. And I wish we were able to set ringtones for emails and texts using our songs instead of the default tones. I can set a call ringtone with songs (I haven't jailbroken yet). That's all! I'll go back to enjoying my iPhone 4!
I bought my iP4 about 6 days ago and I really love it! I'm not having and issues with battery life. I did notice the other day that after unplugging my phone my battery went from 100% to 90% in less than an hour with little use. People from The iPhone Blog forums said it was normal. I'm at 50% with medium to heavy usage and it's only 8:50pm. I had a Blackberry Storm 2 before and the battery life was worse on it. I do think that the Storm has a better notification system for everything (email, facebook, twitter and calanders) but the browser and apps make up for it. Gmail has push with Exchange so I just forward my important emails to it (yahoo and hotmail). If you want a phone with a nice browser, great apps and nice camera, the iPhone is a great device. Push and multitasking aren't as great but they are decent enough.
