guys can the iphone 4 play mkv 720p video using vlc or buzz player WITHOUT ANY LAGS? i plan on buying iphone 4 but i dont like converting my hd video (time consuming)

Something to think about. Consumer Reports pulled its recommendation only due to 'antennagate'. Other than that, it gave the iPhone 4 the highest ranking possible.
Android fans and Apple haters trumpeted this fact till their voices grew coarse.
Only thing is, now that antennagate doesn't exist, doesn't that now make the iPhone 4 technically the highest rated smartphone? Why don't you guys talk about that anymore? lol
The answer is, no matter what, you will keep writing here, finding every single flaw. iPhone users here know it, normal readers know it, in fact, even you guys know it.
The iPhone 4 is a very good and reliable phone for most users. Nothing you say, or lie about, will change that fact. Millions of people have bought it, and are happy with it (Highest customer satisfaction according to surveys, followed very closely by Motorola).
Not everyone thinks alike, not everyone thinks like me, not everyone thinks like you. Have some intellectual humility. Enjoy the variety, and how much choice you have now. Think back to when smartphone choice meant Windows CE or a Palm Treo, or a Nokia Communicator. Pretty sad days.
All this "I hate iPhone I hate this I hate that you're a loser screw you get a life talk" only marks out immaturity. Imagine your kid writing like you write now, when you are older, and you would probably feel like smack him in the head one time, for wasting his time.

[deleted post]There is no such thing as a 'best' phone for everyone. The best phone is the phone that suits your need the most. This could be iPhone, Galaxy S. In fact, if you just want to make calls and SMS, a dumbphone would be the best phone, as opposed to a smartphone.
Enough of your nonsense. You don't like iPhone? Want to give valid criticism? Fine. Otherwise, if you're just here to whine and waste time, get lost.

[deleted post]yup,my iphone4 doesn't have the signal lost problem at all,i think this problem only appear at the 1st badge of the phone in certain country,but this problem can be fix by the apple bumper..so lets just enjoy iphone4 =)

How biased can people be?
I mean sure, I admit Android is a better system (in some cases) since you can do a lot more compared to iOS, but have you seen the apps they have? They're NOTHING compared to what iOS apps are. As of now that is. How do I know? I own an Android and an iPhone.
Maybe in a few years it'll catch up to the App Store.
But you can't say this is a sh*tty phone.
It's effin' AWESOME. Try comparing the gaming capabilities to any other Android out there and it'll KICK ITS ASS. Especially with the iPhone 4 having the gyroscope, can't beat that man.
Android may be awesome, but this is why I'd have second thoughts on replacing my iPhone with an Android. Unless they get a gyroscope. Haha.
Now THAT would be incredible.

Every f... call is dropped on 4 and PERFECT on 3GS. Changed my phone 3 times, still. Apply all updates and still the same. Apple DO SOMETHING PLEASE!

I forgot to add, as others have, that Iphone4 has poor battery life although I cannot speak for other smartphones which may suffer similarly.
I never used Wi-Fi or games, just lots of email and internet. Max use is 1 day. A fan of Iphone4 posted '2 hours' if gaming. I think this is poor for any expensive phone and you cannot buy spare battery for Iphone4.
I am swapping to £260 Motorola DEFY. Hope it lasts longer...high-specification toughened phone (IP67). Same screen but smaller phone too!

Had iPhone4 for 7 days. Had Nokia candybar 6120 before with normal keypad. It's clever, slick, thin, well made.
I've struggled to get used to imputing text. Had HTC Vario 5 years ago with stylus for hand-writing recognition=ok but made mistakes. It's got easier on iphone4 with use & I've got faster but felt like learning to type-with 1 finger-anew, annoying to traverse entire K/board+no vibrate.
Am swapping for Motorola DEFY toughened smartphone=IP67. Just £260. Android 2.1 +2.2 update next year. 3.7". 5MP.

Hi,
Is there a way to add customised ringtones to iPhone 4 without having to sync the ringtones folder in iTunes. A simple drag and drop on the phone copies only one tone and not the entire set.
Please help. In case I do a sync it will end up deleting all my songs and movies etc
