iphoned4u2, 30 Nov 2010Not really We don't need microSD nor want USB. Thats why we have a iphone4 not an N8. So no ... moreWe = the true loyal fans that will never jail break.

As Jailbreaking can cause funny Spots and maybe a battery fire. The term sounds like Apple is a jail when its a nice place to visit

Why did apple make this weird thing to the phone. If you load music to the phone you can not load it from the phone to the computer? I would also like to enjoy good music without headphones so why did they put only 1 speaker to this mode when even the 3G had 2?

[deleted post]Isn't it better if your Nokia army voted down the iPhone 4 in secret? lol

By announcing it here with a very large comment, people who come will say "Hey, how come the voting is only 6?" Then they will read your comment and say "Ah no wonder its low, the Nokia Army is voting it low, so the iPhone natural rating must be higher"

Whatever it is, please don't take a career in the military. You are the guy who will post the status update "Guys won't be able to answer phone tonight, going on secret mission to this building at 8pm to 10pm" hahaha

You would like EVERYTHING N8 has to offer that iPhone4 doesn't on top of stuff that iPhone4 already has as would N8 owners like to have EVERYTHING iPhone 4 has to offer on top of what N8 already has.

Apple voting is very good. The N8 has features we don't want anyway, thats why i bought an iphone4. Using Video calling over the Wi-Fi in a mall is the best.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2010I prefer the multitasking on the iOS and WP7 compared to the battery consuming implementation ... moreSo true unfortunately. I came to the EXACT same conclusions after five months of everyday tweaking of my beloved Galaxy S in order for it to reach its full potential. It never did. I have an iPhone 4 in my possesion now. And i am happy i did the switch.

[deleted post]I prefer the multitasking on the iOS and WP7 compared to the battery consuming implementation on my Galaxy S. I once forgot to kill several apps and left them running in the background and it ate 40% of my battery in like three hours. What's the point of having this kind of multitasking when it kills your battery so fast? I do not like the fact that I have to be actively killing apps in order to preserve battery life.

I also have to root my SGS to make it usable, use OCLF to get rid of the lag, use SetCPU to underclock it to 100 MHz when idle to preserve battery life, install Juice Defender to make it last a day, use AudioBoost, install Dolphin browser because the default sucks, and numerous other "tweak apps" and hacks.

My experience with Android isn't a pleasing one. I have to do all sorts of geeky stuff to make my Galaxy S useful and last a day. I don't get a kick out of doing all these tweaks and prefer the "it just works" approach of Apple. Tweaking and hacking my Android device doesn't makes me happy, in fact, it's annoying.

On the apps department, Android generally fails in quality compared to iOS's. Almost all the apps are better on iOS.

It makes me wonder how the non-geek customers of Galaxy S who hasn't done a tweak manages their phone. It must have suck for them. No wonder the user loyalty of Android is at 28% compared to Iphone's 59%. I will switch back to iOS when iPhone 5 comes out. Android feels more like a beta OS compared to the polished iOS.

I expect my Galaxy S to be a phone first and last a day with the smartphone features playing only a second fiddle role to its main purpose. Sadly, my Galaxy S fails its purpose out of the box without tweaks and tweaking Android is not fun at all.
