well we can argue all day about Iphone vs Android and its market share. My feelings are that Iphpones are a load of crap!!! Yes they have world domination as simple people flock to buy it. Im guessing these same people fell for the millenium bug too! Great marketing I say

Anonymous, 18 Nov 2010So you have an iPhone because apple told you it sells good and because it has many games while... moreThank you. I have an iPhone 4 and a Blackberry Torch. It seems to me these days there are more sheep on the Android train cos it's 'cool' to be anti-Apple.
I choose the phone that best suits my needs. Seems to me these days Android users are just too hell bent against using anything Apple that they just swallow the Google koolaid. Why not consider all mobile phones. Why limit yourself? If there is a mobile i bleieve better than iPhone, i would get it.
Anyway i prefer to keep my options open rather than be dictated by what is cool or to be another poser with an Android lol.

So many factors, easy to pick and choose. Did you know Android marketshare will be due to low end products? Did you take into account profitability? Yada yada yada .
The fact is the iPhone 4 has dominated the smartphone scene in 2010. The only way opinion will change is when headlines read Android-killer, instead of iPhone killer.

Android holds ~30% of the market share because people want androids on their handsets and they want choices.
Symbian holds another ~30% of the market share because people want androids on their handsets and they want choices.
iOS holds 5% because nobody wants to use iOS. iOS users hence, have no choice, they're stuck with a defective phone.

Android supporters can only scratch their heads as to how iPhone is the dominant smartphone according to analysts. Android can lay claim to many features but there is no ONE phone that brings it all together, in a beautiful design that captures the imagination. The iphone 4 has managed to do this.
This is the reason why the iPhone has dominated 2010. Android will face added pressure from WP7 and Meego, both OSes which target the same demographic as Android. 2011 is going to be interesting.
