Apple grew its sales by $22 billion last year. That growth alone is bigger than most companies you've ever heard of. It's also more revenue than the ENTIRE COMPANY generated four years ago.

Use iphone 4, galaxy s, and n8. Best device is galaxy s then n8 then iphone 4. Use mac and windows all versions. Make sure you get a device that meets your needs. Galaxy has dlna and n8 usb OTG. Iphone only has itunes. Have any of you used your devices for sharing, copying or transferring? Hspa fastest on galaxy for those who need to know then iphone then n8. These comments from real use. Spec on paper and hear say not the best way to judge a device. Hope this helps.

I can buy a samsung galaxy s for half the price of this phone. Why should I buy the iphone while I can buy a phone with same or even better specs for half the price? I like the iphone 4 but I don't see any reasons to buy this one for about 800-900 euro!!! I don't want an expensive contract either.

Let me start by saying that the iP4 is my first iPhone. I've been an android user since droids inception and actually left my cliq xt to go to atnt to get the samsung captivate. ended up with an ip4. I must say, I am very happy with my choice! When just using phone and text and checking email and facebook, my battery lasts 2+ days... I also listened to my music for a whole work day and still had 60% of my battery at the end... Movies tend to drain it fast as do motion games. kind of don't like the app store as compared to android market mostly because you have to filter so much crap to find good apps. video and sound quality both get 9's from me. IP4 isnot as fast as I would like and expected from a 1gig processor especially on 3g connection (sites like youtube seem to load pretty slow compared to the captivate and even the cliq xt)... As a first time ip4 buyer, I am happy with it and have put away my doubts.... wish only that I'd have gotten the 32gig...

I'll tell you why, it's the brand. Plain and simple. Because it can't be because of the specs, which are much the same as the competition and in some cases behind the competition.
I suppose you can't argue with the sheer number of apps available, but Android is catching up fast and Symbian is having a revamp to make it easier for developers to bring out more apps for Nokia devices. However, most apps are rubbish gimmicky nonsense and completely pointless.

annud, 17 Nov 2010m really thinking of buying it, but 1 of my friend told me that battery life is not at all goo... moreyes, i'm using it....the battery back up is quite amazing...with whole one day as you are working on it....the battery is in built so that you can't have any probz related to it.....an awesome phone.......a must buy...:).

its not the worlds best smartphone, its just that many people likes it that much that they rated it as best phone, there are far many phones out there that are more powerful thatn the iphone, but in business world its whats important is if people will buy what companies produce, if people like it and millions have bought it, then its best phone for those people regardless of the limitations it brings, just accept the facts that iphones really sell good and theres not a DAMN thing u can do about it..

Looking at the specifications I really can not understand how people can rate it as the best phone in the world ever.
As far as I'm concerned the iphone is a fashion accessory for people with money to burn. Sensible people will always choose any other phone that isn't Apple.
Same thing goes for the ipod. Isn't it better to buy a decent MP3 player than an ipod? For a start it's cheaper, and you won't have to worry about itunes, as a standard MP3 player will play your ripped music no questions asked.
Apple computers are seriously overpriced while being mediocre in the specification area. Once again, they are just a fashion accessory which receives celebrity endorsements so people think they are getting a superior product when in fact they're buying bog standard gear for twice the price of it's true worth.

just d brand.... there is nothin special at all except d screen which looks amaizing... i-phone is just another touch screen, for ppl who can spend a lot for almost nothin special..... purpose of all phones being the same... :-0
