Anonymous, 27 Oct 2010"that was you and you just keep milking that for all its worth.. guess its the only thing... moresorry should have said.. best hd video quality viewing it on the actual phone..
will give you some more info in regards to making your choise for the n8
taken from the conclusion section of the n8s review

"A few years back thousands of people would take this to mean the best on the market. Things are not that simple today and Nokia has been learning it the hard way. But the company has been learning.

It’s been a long losing streak for Nokia in the game of touch phones. You can’t expect it to suddenly turn the game around and start beating the snot out of the competition. It makes much more sense to try and be better one step at a time. The best camera in business is one such step.

We’ve given up looking for the ultimate smartphone, haven’t we? The Nokia N8 most certainly isn’t in contention there. And Symbian ^3 is not the best touchscreen experience you can get – although what’s fair is fair – it’s an improvement over S60 5th. And the Ovi store isn’t the best app market, but the guys behind it try really hard.

Symbian sucks on touchscreen – yeah, but there are some nice multimedia features. The web browser is not that good"

"The Nokia N8 has standard screen resolution. At 360 x 640, the Nokia N8 has 44 percent less pixels than the best Android displays (854 x 480 pixels) and just over a third of the iPhone 4 pixel count (960 x 640 pixels).

Not everyone needs that kind of pixel density though, and some users probably won’t even be able to notice the difference. We do, that's for sure."

hope that helps :)
peace brother

Nope, I was just reply on your statement that iPhone HD video is best of the best.
You see, there is no my trolling around and bashing this phone. Just correcting some propaganda and misleads. ,)
Note that I didn't say lies even if I can.
And about N8 will say much more after 2 or 3 week in N8 tread, when I get real perspective. Now I still getting know the good and bad things about N8. Cheers mate

yeah cas we all know how often we watch hd vids from our phones on our hd tv's right?
obviously having the best quality cam that can be used to view on your computer/ tv is your priority
and i didnt make any connection between hd on the ip4 besides its video recording.. that was you and you just keep milking that for all its worth.. guess its the only thing u got right?
ur right, hd is not intended for the ip4 but it comes a hell of alot closer in terms of picture quality than the n8..remind me it was something like 360 x 640 yeah??? even most mid range phones sport a higher res than that.. imo not good enough for a high end device with a 12mp cam as a selling point..its only selling point.
and you are old enough...ur a grow man which makes this worse.. but obviously not old enough to stop trolling.
seriously bro ur proving my point everytime and making nokia fans look bad at the same time

Bluetooth 3.0 relies on 802.11n for high-speed transfers and P2P transfer over WiFi is on Nokia smart phones since 2008. So.. where is iPhone 4 advantage and ingenuity? Take a rest my friend. A little sleep will be good for you.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2010fair enough, i want to ask you something... how many people actually use there phones camera f... moreRight on target again.
HD video is not intended to be watched at phone at all. Not even iPhone 4 screen and hardware is made for it. Talking about this..is there any HD connection on iPhone 4?
On N8 at least can be directly looking at your HD TV. Right?
Everything else is just fairy tales and trolling. Best HD camera at this moment is something other than iPhone 4.
I am old enough to buy my own phone IE pay for it from my own pocket. I own iPhone 3GS and will never say, no matter what, that Apple is the best anywhere. Simply not. Some ideas come along with every new iPhone but most of the "progress" is just marketing propaganda. They are really good at it.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2010u dint explain exactly as to how bluetooth is frm stoneage, kindly elaborate....Bluetooth is s-l-o-o-o-o-w, 3G is now faster than it and 802.11n wifi is w-a-a-a-y faster.

Standing in a 10 metre range to send a large file to one other device is old when there are newer, faster ways.

When Bluetooth replaced IR there were hold outs like you, stuck in their slow old ways.

Uploading and sharing from the cloud is the way to go.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2010Obviously you didn't saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5uaYAg5TMc Take look and then ... morefair enough, i want to ask you something... how many people actually use there phones camera for other things than viewing on the actual device???
be honest now....
thing is bro.. u can have the best camera in the world (which on a phone yes the n8's is number one) but your picture quality is always going to be limited to the devices screen resolution... and we all know the ip4 sports almost twice the ammount of res even compared to the next highest res on a handset.
so as good as your n8s pics are, theyre never going to look as good as they should as the n8s res isnt exactually spectacular... yeah the n8s camera was nokias number one priority... shame they didnt put as much care into the rest of the phone.

seriously bro, how old are you??? run along and stay in ur n8 forums if ur so happy with it.
peace

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2010If a radio is such a big issue, forget the iPhone go buy something that suits your needs.radio??...........hahahahahahahhahahahah
nice cause for not getting an iphone4
really is it that Xpensive??
in UAE iphone4 costs 2399DHS
GALAXY S costs 2600DHS
Xperia X10 costs 2199DHS
Nokia N8 costs 1899DHS
iphone4 is the best thing to go...well this is for UAE
nd BTW if u want android why go for that cheap plastic galaxy s wait fot HTC desire HD..dat will be alot better or wait for the upcoming SE phones cuz their 16.1 nd 14.1 camera modules r in the making..may be in 2011 SE might release phones using those modules...cuz at this time going for galaxy or n8 will be suicide...i'll suggest at this time go for iphone4 cuz its the best super fast phone at this time..no lags or hiccups between switiching apps nd pages or menus etc etc....nd those antennagate or glassgate issues..to me i have never xperienced any of those...ok this must with the first batch of iphones..nd i have purchased mine not even 1 month have completed....nd those idiotic crippleness, cripple stupid comments..those r just from some ganja eating freaks..
its apple nd apple=Premium
CHEERS!!
