Besides, you enjoy the fight anyways.I don't care if people don't like the iphone, as long as they don't come in here and start insulting iphone users. Blogging is a powerful tool. It can be informative, it can also be destructive. I prefer blogging to be an informative way for users to interact with each other. Some people abuse blogging and use it to hate. And again you probably don't see the hating towards Apple because your vision goes auto blind when someone posts hateful comments towards Apple and iphone users. Your eyes only see reactions and retaliations from iphone users.

They didn't invent it, but they're bringing it to the world. Video calling internationally before the iphone's facetime is so frustrating that no one really uses it. And can you imagine how much international video calls would cost you over 3g? It's free on the iphone4 because it's via wifi. Have you seen demos on youtube on international video calls using facetime? It actually works, and it does it way smoother than the rest, and it makes you WANT to use it.

Android devices are in the works to license facetime. Once that happens, facetime would no longer be limited to iphone to iphone users, but all across other platforms as well. Give it some time.

You feel that iphone users are not entitled to react on all the hating towards us. If you read the first 3 pages of comments in here, you will read a lot of below the belt, foul language used by non iphone users against Apple and iphone users. I bet your eyes couldn't see those comments, because you only see our defense.

Apple has done it and changed it to facetime. Its a good idea but the only problem is the other person needs an Iphone 4 too with wifi.

When i get the iphone 4, i'm selling it, getting a sim tray adapter, buying the wave 8500 and pocketing maybe 300 or 400.00.

Apple started to integrate features into a touchscreen phone that would provide excellent user experience. They started to take implementation of features seriously. Making features actually usable, and not just something to show on paper but ends up unusable due to poor implementation. Apple started the trend of touchscreen phones.
To start something does not always mean inventing a feature or being the first to come up with a feature. Sometimes it's about how features are implementated and integrated into a device.

It's about the iphone being the best device for us. It is true that I do not care for divx on a phone. Even if Apple decides to incorporate that to the iphone, I still wouldn't care for it. I think it's a waste of hardware space. I'd rather have Apple use that hardware space for something else more practical for a phone. Watching movies on my phone is the least of my intentions when buying a phone. So yes, I am fine without divx support on my phone.

You are t... moreApple started a lot of things in the mobile phone market, but it's not even about that. Users don't care who started what first. That is not what lookers look for when they evaluate a device. It's whether the device works best for them or not. How are the features implemented? How friendly is the UI? How fast, smooth, Nd stable is the device? How's the build quality? How's the service? Etc. Those are the things that people look into when they check out the device. No one cares which year video calling came out, or who came up with the first colored display, or which device was first to browse the web.

No wonder phone companies pay people to post here complaining about 3G videocalls.
