Allan, 29 Aug 2010I would guess that the warranty is 1 year and if you need to replace it after that you are out... moreDon't bother. You're just wasting your time. People have already answered this guy, he'll keep at it, and once he can't. He'll move to another inane topic. I'm ignoring him for now. Doesn't exist.

Allan, 29 Aug 2010I would guess that the warranty is 1 year and if you need to replace it after that you are out... moreyes u do loose d warranty after a yr in my country,m not sure abt d rest of d world, but replacing d battery wid a new 1 frm d stores is fairly easy task n does not require any rocket science, changing d battery can b done on all phones(read almost) but not on d icrap
so nobody has a proper answer 2 d ques. still.
goair, 29 Aug 2010k even m no fanboy 2 things legally apple doesnt approve d first is jailbreaking n second try... moreI would guess that the warranty is 1 year and if you need to replace it after that you are out of warranty anyways.
Anonymous, 29 Aug 2010Isn't it better to know both? Good and bad. Anyway, I think it would be better to make an info... morefirstly i never said any1 getlost but u said so i had 2 giv a backlash.m for peace here but ppl seem 2 learn it d hard way.
Another thing still no answer for d ques is it not a ques. Worth keeping in mind b4 purchasing ip4 n a true review is always abt d gud n bad so all d apple fanboys talk abt only d gud so there has 2 b some.1 2 point d negetives in such a highly priced device 2 make it fair?isn't it?
PS does any1 still hav an exact answer 2 d ques instead of diverting d topic?

Anyway, I think it would be better to make an informed decision by reading more than one review, from dependable sources, and then if possible to try the phones out, then decide.
Who in their right mind would make a decision solely by listening to a hater troll on a comment forum? Anyway, please keep comments respectful.

2 things legally apple doesnt approve d first is jailbreaking n second trying 2 dismantle d device even for a basic reason like replacing d battery which d rest of d world does so easily n simply n d iphone users still dream of it but r unsuccessful in doing so,m saying dis bcoz batteries will die 1 day for sure n much b4 d actual death of d device, dis has happend wid my friend using an iphone 2g n will soon going 2 happn 2 another friend using an 3g.
Must say u atleast tried answering d question sensibally which no1 has done so far.

goair, 29 Aug 2010is dat ur answer 2 my question technically...hahaha....lol
any one else wid an appropriate answer?Actually if you care to read carefully I was the first to answe your question. No you can't replace the battery.
The only difference is that you see it as an issue, but I don't. I had the iPhone 2G, iPhone 3GS and now iPhone 4. All are still running.
You have a point, if you want the iphone to last 10 years maybe. But if you really want to replace the battery that badly, you send it to Apple.
I then followed up with your attitude. So you feel that anybody is benefitting from your forum trolling?
Please read my answers to pretty people's questions. I have even recommended other phones when I thought it more appropriate. I try my best to give factual answers, you would do well to do the same.

Everyone makes choices every day, based on what they want out of something, budget, brand, design etc. We do it for cars, houses, phones, clothes an plenty of other things.
Everyone is unique. Stop harassing people and their choices. Religion teaches us better.

Google re... moreask urself is it at ease or feasible,d ipods n iphone r completly sealed wid no access point whatsoever to diassemble or even attempt 2 dismantle d device, moreover even apple inc. Does not approve it at all...other phones u just slide out a back cover n replace d old battery wid a new 1,so simple it is but wid apple forget it.just chuck d device when batterys lyf is over,it happnd wid 1 of my friend also he was using d iphone 2g.
N ALSO EVEN SCIENTIFICALLY EVERY BATTERY HAS A LIMITED LYF CYCLES,phone though can function for a reletively longer period of tym dan its battery if everything goes fyn but wid apple again NO.
Anonymous, 29 Aug 2010They don't give you a case when you get the phone, you order it by downloading an App and then... moreWhy didnt you answer that since you seem to know everything about the iphone4??
