The current batch of smartphones are pretty close to each other, and can perform most functions well.
Most people who ask me, I would say, choose the phone that suits you.
However, to people who enjoy gaming a lot, I would want to mention that here is a superior selection of games at the moment on the App Store, some are iPhone exclusive, and some are iPhone versions of popular games.
Square Enix came out with Chaos Rings exclusive to the iPhone. Some games like Street Fighter, Guitar Hero are tailored to suit touch screen controls.
Me personally, I am enjoying Street Fighter 4, Guitar Hero, Tilt to Live.
Also, for those into puzzle games, I recommend you try out Helsing's Fire, which I have just started and find quite interesting.

most iphone users arent comfortable with android.it takes a while to get used to it.ive used windows android and iphone(3gs)..of all ive found android innovative intuitive.iphone is quite good in terms of UI but is also the most boring.If ya student young and want to check out new stuff go for android phones...samsung galaxys are quite good.If ya 50plus with busy schedule and need an easy to use high end phone...needless to say u will opt for iphone.

Just got the Iphone 4 yesterday, so far so good. Can you customise/download/create message tones?? I can for ringtones, but I can't seem to find out about message tones....the loaded message tones are ordinary!! Cheers.

no inferred port support
video calls over wifi & not network 3g support.
You need to give Apple your bank account information before you could have access to their App store.

I had a lot of phones but iphone is iphone .....iphone has everything on it what you want i have 3 iphones right noe and i want to buy also 4th one ... What is t... moreI currently own an iPhone 4, with my previous phone being an iPhone 3GS. Battery life is indeed improved over the 3GS, as I use it the same way as my 3GS, yet so far have rarely encountered the red battery sign when it's time for me to charge my phone at night.

Hi all,
I am seriously considering getting this phone before the end of the year. What is the battery like especially compared to the 3GS? I would like an unbiased opinion of somebody who has a 4G and a 3GS or somebody who has a 4G and used to have a 3GS. I don't want to be carrying a charger with me. I currently have a Nokia and they have good batteries but an outdated OS. I can get the 4G cheap due to my contacts in the telecommuncations industry. I will get this phone or the Samsung Beam which has a beast of a battery that can power a car. In a nutshell, I am going to Android or Safari. If I get the 4G, I will be playing the superb games on it. Is the battery really better and different to the 3GS?

The iphone 4 is apples VISTA they tried to do to much and failed, at the end of the day its just a iphone 3gs jazzed up, if you want somthing truly inovative buy a nokia n8.
