Anonymous, 17 Aug 2010The current value of Apple (AAPL) is 230.19 Billion, close enough to a quarter of a trillion.but, HP still have more than that.
What is this crap! This has NOTHING on the Sony Ericsson S500i, recommended by the U.S. navy and Barack Obama. It's almost waterproof and have lamps on the side, beat that!
KT Corp received 100,000 pre-orders for iPhone 4 in the first day of pre-ordering in South Korea.
In comparison, Galaxy S took 5 days to reach the 100,000 figure.
Hmm seems Apple is kicking ass even in the land of Samsung. Very popular phone.
Wow! 60000 preorders in just 4 hours the moment KT opened the pre-ordering process in South Korea.
iPhone is doing phenomenally well in markets where they launched. All seem to be doing even better than the 3GS in terms of launch numbers. iPhone is truly the King of smartphones in terms of sales at the moment.
[deleted post]The billions represent market capitalization. Just below it by the way, is Microsoft. Are you a blind fool because evil Bill Gates is greedy and stealing your money, since you are using a PC (I assume this, as the alternative would be you using Mac)? It just means the size of the company according to market value, something you obviously have no clue about hahaha.
ABolfazl, 18 Aug 2010turn on your wifi and hold it with left hand for 30 second & .... no signalhow to hold it for blu-tooth connection is his issue and getting radio reception
Had the phone for 2 weeks and is in for repairs already. gave the 3GS to my son and had no problems with that one .... but this one has given me hell. Has anyone else had these problems. 1. Phone turns itself off and you need to hold the home button and the on-off button to turn back on. 2. Whistle talking the phone goes mute or speaker or anything else it wants too. Line drops out. Not impressed at the moment.
turn on your wifi and hold it with left hand for 30 second & .... no signal
The signal on the Iphone 4 works fine in the UK, In the US the mobile networks there are cheap so you bound to get signal problems there.
Iphone 4 is a brill h/set
Another annoyance is that tethering won't work unless one installs iTunes on the tethered computer.
just one thing tells me this isnt as AMAZING as people say, the ratings, 6.4, 6.4 & 6.4 of over 33000 votes. Mm, i think my next upgrade in a few weeks maybe something else, Apple hype, no more no less.
Well I got my iphone 4 yesterday and I have to say I am very impressed with it, it isnt that it does anymore than the other fones on the market but it just does it better and easier. Since turning it on I have downloaded facebook ebay and another couple of apps and synced some music but thats all Ive had to do. everything else seems good to go so hy would I bother.
AND to be honest I am very critical of anything with an 'i' infront of it, generally it is over priced and a pile of crap but they have actually managed to do it.
AND as for the reception problems, My reception is much better than my nokia n97.
Vimeo now supports HTML5. Just tried it on my ip4, and the video quality is just superb. I say even better than YouTube.
Anonymous, 17 Aug 2010Why would Apple need to up their sales? They can't keep up with demand as it is, there are ... moreI agree with you. In a report released today. Apple holds 48% of the mobile phone industry's total profit share. That's humungous. Although their market share is pretty low. Which is undersrandable due to the fact that Apple only has 1 phone. But to have a 48% profit share, that just blows everyone out of the water.
I have another question for the iPhone 4 users. Could you please tell me how is the sound quality of the phone and the loudness of the speakers? Is it better than the 3GS or the other way round?
4everyone, 17 Aug 2010I speak on behalf of every human being on this Earth.
In order to up your sales Apple.

They can't keep up with demand as it is, there are waiting lists in most countries where the iPhone 4 has been released so far with more releases on the way.
Apple are also making more money out of phones than most of the other manufacturers added together.
