Anonymous, 16 Aug 2010their point is , if you don get any plan you will not get an iphone for 199 so the truth is ip... moreSomeone also mentioned that it is the same for some Android phones, they aren't exactly super cheap without contract either. EVO 4G is USD 600. So what's the difference? Whatever it is, iPhone 4 isn't Vertu price. Do I want it cheaper? Of course, who wouldn't? Do I think its worth the price though? Definitely. If it isn't worth it for you, then don't buy it. Get a Galaxy S.

never was a fan of apple products, however, the iphone 4 is in my opinion amazing.
i hav used Blackberrys, Nokias, SonyErics the lot but i like the new iphone 4 best.
the screen quality is reli good, cant even see individual pixels unless u hav better than 20/20 vision.
i have had no reception issues on the vodafone UK network, even when i try to do the "death grip"
the build quality is flawless
the phone runs well and doesnt lag
and best of all 200,000+ apps... whos gna beat that?
very expensive phone but highly recommend it

What is making people angry about Google, on the other hand is going against its 'Don't be Evil' line, and is actually debating to use user info for its own profit. Not very nice is it?

[deleted post]LoL. If you can buy a legitimate iPhone for 199 free of contract, let me know:).
The idea is that the 199 sum does not include the 2 year contract costs. The other phone might cost that much free of contract or with a cheaper contract.Got it?
So those 19000 dollars are safe:).

Changewave survey concluded that the iPhone 4 is outperforming every smartphone on the market.

iPhone 4 remains the highest rated smartphone on Consumer Reports, despite pulling the recommendation due to Antennagate. The Changewave Report indicates that iPhone 4 drops calls even less than iPhone 3GS, which sort of negates the reason Consumer Reports had to pull its recommendation.

Conclusion is that the iPhone 4 is one of the best smartphones on the market today. Note that I did not say the best. I said one of the best because at the end of the day, different phones suit different people. Buy the one that suits your needs best.

[deleted post]First you admit that people "brainless iFools" buy it only for the brand and to show off. Then you say its not a brand, no one admits to it. Which one is it?

If you notice, most of the things said about Apple are consistent. But you guys who attack, shift from one position, then to a totally opposite position.

I really don't mind constructive criticism, which actually helps to eventually produce better products or contribute to better discussion. But hypocrisy I do not respect, and neither do most people here, whether for or against Apple.

Check out the PC World article from 8th June 2010. I quote:

"The iPhone 4 packs the most GB for your buck in terms of storage, with the base $199 model coming with 16GB of built-in storage, while the Incredible and Evo 4G coming with only 8GB bundled for the same price. On the good side though, all the Android phones in this comparison come with microSD expansion slots, and you can get a 32GB memory card online for around $100 (the same price difference between the iPhone 4 16GB and 32GB models)."

Prices are competitive. Another myth busted. Awww how sad for the Apple haters. The iPhone ain't even that expensive? What's left to bash?

[deleted post]KxWZ, you might as well post some constructive posts, or none at all.

The phone has been debated to death, weaknesses and strengths are known to most people, and most have already decided, some bought iPhone, some bought Android. Only reason left for you to be here is that you're a sad little troll with nothing better to do.
