I have looked into and asked heaps of advice. My friend bought one yesterday i was shocked her old phone was a Nokia 1208 and hated huge kinda phones so for her to go to an iphone 4 is a big deal.
ive heard theyre working on bringing android to the iphone.
htc are just the best company EVER.
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2010You do know that iPhones are made in the same Foxconn factories as Nokia phones.Foxcon only make charger for nokia.
Nokia OWN their own factory in China.
Nokia DID NOT subcontract the phone.
They have the factory to build their own phone.
(unlike apple, sony ericsson, motorola)

Here is a link that apple will stop iOS development in 2-3 years:

i have heard that the antenna problem is worse in the US due to the different frequencies they use, though that may be total rubbish.
got to be honest, ive got a htc HD2 and i think it's a great alternative to the iphone. never thought windows could run so smoothly, and modding is much fun.
also got android 2.1 running on it now on a dual boot. hurrah!

Settle down buddy. It's not "rubbish" just because someone experiences something different from you. :)
Yes, the Nokia E71 is a great phone. I had it for over a year and a half. One of the best Nokia devices ever. Yes it had good battery life. But come on, let's be honest here...the phone was not that fast! If you compare it to the latest Android phones or the iPhone, Symbian pales in comparison! But I must say, I've used the Nokia E72 and the E71 is actually a little faster!

My husband has an iphone 3gs and loves it. My BB is dying so im off to get a new phone tomorrow. i looked at the iphone 4 it felt alittle funny not as smooth as the 3gs but other than that i think it should be ok. I'm worried about buying it as all the reports about the phone i don't want to buy a dud is it worth getting the ip4 or just get the 3gs and upgrade to ip4 software. I want the iphone 4 cause its the latest one out and it seen silly to buy an older verision. Who is happy with the 4? please if u hate Apple don't reply im not an apple person fan as i have never had one but my hubby has and he has never looked back. I just want real replys back about it not I hate apple people complaining. I also live in Australia so im not sure if that makes a difference.
Hey Ally - nice to read an actual useful post for once! The BB Storm is a good phone but in my opinion no where near the iPhone 4. In fact, I would put the BB Storm below the iPhone 3GS and the BB Bold as well. I quite liked the BB Bold 9700..BB tried to get into the touchscreen party with the Storm and it didn't quite work out.
Yes I would say to certianly go for the iPhone 4! Which is your carrier: Optus, telstra, vodafone....? I don't know anyone in Australia with the iPhone 4, but from what I've heard and read, there have been hardly any network/antenna compalaints. I use iPhone 4 on 02 in the UK and it's great.
I actually feel sorry for the people in the US who can only use the iPhone 4 (non jailbroken that is) on AT&T. Is the US the only major country with just one iPhone carrier? In the UK, we have 5 choices! And I'm pretty sure in Canada they have at least three choices. Hopefully, in the near future, Verizon gets it in the US as well!
