Well I'll definitely be on the lookout for more articles about that, and if that's confirmed to be a fact, I will be back at the genius bar for a replacement. I have till 7/24 to get a replacement. Although honestly, I am quite happy with the one I got.
good to see apple is fixing this issue few users i know have got iphones exchanged and now no signal issue what so ever. can't wait to buy my iphone.
It sucks. I flushed this handset in my toilet. none of the functions works properly. It is so slow. Damn, i can't even use internet. When I take a photo, the image comes blurr and looks like cartoon. I can't watch a porn movie properly. Music quality is very bad. shiiiiiiiiiittttt.
I feel sorry for those stupid people who have boight this handset.
reports say new iphone 4s just leaving apple factories are built different from all those released before.its got a new coating over the antena,at least these apple saps will have reception on their phone. Admitting a faulty design or sneakily covering up? Whats happens with the ones already sold?

That's already ... moresteve jobs hand you back 40 dollars,i don't think you understand the way apple see money, its suck in of you not give out. sam, 14 Jul 2010can any one tell me the correct price of iphone 4g in india?plsnot avaliable in india yet. Still 8 months. And the price wil b near 30000
This phone I dont like to buy due to following points
Hardware design is prone to reception issues
MicroSIM card support only
No Flash support in the web browser
No true multitasking for all applications
FaceTime video calls work only over Wi-Fi
No file transfer over Bluetooth or USB Mass Storage mode
No hardware shutter key for the camera
No FM radio
No stereo speakers
No microSD card slot
No smart dialing
Too dependent on iTunes for loading multimedia content
Poor loudspeaker performance
better i will go for Samsung galax S, its is cool mobile looks pretty too.
[deleted post]Some shops in the malls selling for AED7000+
You can get it online also for AED3499 instead.

That's already been confirmed in many other articles a few days after the iphone4 was released. Don't act like it just came out and you only heard it first from CR.
It is also a known fact that a case can resolve the issue, which a lot of iphone users buy a case for their iphones anyway.
There won't be a recall. All cell phones have vulnerable spots. That's a fact of life with cell phones. Apple's design mishap was situating the antenna at a spot that's likely to be gripped and not coating the exposed antennas to avoid from shorting. A design mishap is not substantial reason for the court to order Apple for a recall, unless proved hazardous to consumers.
A case easily resolves the issue. Buying a case for a touchscreen phone is common, but it shouldn't be a must. With the iphone4's case, it leaves you little to no choice but to buy a case, which would disappoint some users who want to keep their iphone4 bare.
Since you pretty much HAVE to get a case for your iphone4. One thing that Apple could do to show consideration, is to give a $40 refund to all iphone4 users to compensate for the pretty much required case.

Just receive my iPhone today. No regrets whatsoever! Was worried when reading some comments here, but thankfully unfounded, in my case at least. Phone is a joy to hold, very beautiful and functions perfectly.
Sam, 14 Jul 2010did you know you can potentially sue apple for reception problem, if you don't receive your em... moreyes there are reports of many many people sueing apple over the faults issues and the evidence against the iphone 4s problems is hardly dwindling
reviews and consumer reports have found the fundamental antena faults with the iphone 4 never mind the other suspect items like screen cracking and proximity sensor,a recall is about to happen:
will apple continue to deny its obvious complacency and lack of respect for its drooling drones or continue production knowing fanboys have a fickle grip on their cash no matter what the faults?
either way 1.5 million phones need to be recalled and all those in post production since those were sold and just waiting for selling must be cancelled end result for apple is not good to the value of over a billion dollars:
either way its their own fault, over complacency, overly controlling, using cheaper internal materials and charging extraordinary prices form fanboys, its bites you in the ass some times
[deleted post]I prefer not only Oranges but also WAVE to apple, at least I can surf on the Wave and most importantly make phone call while holding it with your left hand or any hands. What a joke ! I have seen myself the reception drops to zero bar as soon as hold with left hand!!
did you know you can potentially sue apple for reception problem, if you don't receive your emergency calls due to lack of antena?apple tells you this is a software issue and it has now proven its not the case, if you experience any problem regarding not receving calls while you hold your handset with your left hand you should ask for compnsation and your full money back, please read:
Tommy, 14 Jul 2010I agree with you and I respect that, I think iphone 4 is no revoloution in terms of technolo... moreActually nothing wrong with sticking with your 3GS. That's a very good phone. One can't expect to change phones every year.
Anonymous, 14 Jul 2010dont spend all your cash its about to get an entire recall
http://www.cultofmac.com/pr-expe... moreLol no need to get excited, that is just an opinion by outsiders. Everyone is jumping on the issue as it is easy to get a lot of publicity with this topic.
