Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010HAHA none of them reported by comsumer reports, none in gsm or otherwises review and all appear... moreBut you see no one is denying the fact that the iphone4 has a vulnerable part that degrades reception when gripped. But it is also a fact that other devices have vulnerable spots as well.
But the crazy thing is. When it's the iphone, it becomes a major concern with the media. Why is that? Because it attracts readers.
There are other videos of other devices dropping signal bars when held the wrong way. And those videos came out even before this death grip issue came out, but the media didn't care.
And look at you. You're not even an iphone4 user, yet you constantly complain about it and constantly visit iphone forums. Why? It's called jealousy and hate. While for the media and websites, it's to attract readers to get high ratings and to get lots of clicks to get more money from advertisers because they know that Apple sells.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Good Job apple another class action law suit
http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-20010212-37.... moreThis class action lawsuit is ridiculous. As if only the iphone is the only phone out there that's exclusive to a carrier.
Should we file a class suit against the Droid for only supporting verizon's cdma? Lol.
I won't be surprised to learn that these silly lawsuits are paid for by Apple's competitors to give Apple bad publicity.
Troy, 13 Jul 2010Iphone4 without question is the best smartphone ever, Ok it's been questioned about the anten... moreT3 and Stuff? LOL I've seen those magazines, their reviews are like 5 lines long. You have a far better written review right here, on GSMArena.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Jesus we knew apple was massive controlling and dictating but to be erasing any evidence of cu... moreApple is not deleting valid customer complaints. If you are not a customer, you shouldn't be complaining, and you have no business posting issues on Apple Support forums that you are not experiences. So of course your post will be deleted. It can mislead readers and discourage readers, which is exactly what haters are trying to do. They lie and pretend. Remember that fake Steve Jobs twitter account announcing a recall? Do you think that's valid? Well you probably don't because you hate Apple yourself, lol.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Sure there was. Right on the apple support forums there was a post about iPhone 4 just reachin... moreYou want us to take a comment from an Apple forum claiming a million iphones returned as a fact? Are you a joker?
Your posts got deleted for obvious reasons. You're lying.
Haters are working very aggressively posting exaggerated issues and lies on every iphone/apple forum. You guys are not even iphone4 users. You have no valid reason to complain. So of course your comments will be deleted.
The phone is the greatest but the flash for the camera? What a joke! It's embarassing. I don't even use it. Ever. For anything. Better off postponing using the camera til the morning to get natural light cuz the LED is horribleeeeee!!!
Iphone4 without question is the best smartphone ever, Ok it's been questioned about the antenna problems but put that aside and there's nothing out there at the moment that comes close.
Check out the raging reviews in T3 and stuff magazine,, Iphone once again has set a huge benchmark for other h/sets to try and beat.
Bear in mind there's not even a h/set out there what can compete with the iphone 3gs so It's impossible for a h/set to take on the Iphone4, Maybe in 2 years or more :-)
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Hi Damien, So far multi tasking hasn't taxed my iPhone at all. However, I am always switch... moreI totally agree with you. I dont have any problem with Iphone 4 at New York city. Everytihg working perfect. I highly recommand to everyone
"Love it or hate it?"
Ok, now all ifans plz stop ignoring how good iphone 4 is.
Here are the problems that have come out with the iphone 4:
1). Yellow spot on Retina Display. Apple claimed that it was the best display ever on a mobile device. :)
2). Poor signal when ur hand is touching at the left corner of the iphone 4. Steve said it was the best design ever and the steel frame functioned as antenna to ensure the BEST SIGNAL. :)
3).Steve proclaimed the iphone 4 was covered with restistant glass which was 30 times harder than normal glass. But, as we can c in the video test by iFix n not to say about that, the iphon3 was like a junk. Or am i wrong? Maybe the guy who did the test dropped it in wrong way? :)
4). Proximity sensor doesn't work properly compared to the old 3gs, tested by gsmarenablog. :) Perhaps Steve was too hard on Foxconn employees, n then they made that 4 revenges :)
5).USB port got fired :
Wowwwwww! It's not just a problem, but a DANGEROUS game. Steve , what's wrong with u? U wanna kill us? NO, it's not a funny game, i'd say :)
Well,...... all ifans , do u enjoy the stories? :)How will u say about that? Thanks!
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010i hope the iphone5 when it is manufactured does not get branded as ipear5 lol :-)Really a very stupid joke...
luckily for the people in this apple ad using facetalk that its limited to only wifi and not 3g like other phones over the years as they're all holding the phone in the wrong way according to steve...yikes!
[deleted post]HAHA none of them reported by comsumer reports, none in gsm or otherwises review and all appear just as the iphone 4 probems became apparent. Funny enough the evo one is by covering the entire top of the phone which nobody does!(except iphone 4 users to get signal ie. isteves 'hold it different position) I have phones whos network signal drops and rises and my house too i could make videos of that but its due to the signal in my house not the phone ;) could make a comeback video that way. Funny though, iphone 4 has offically been found faulty in test not just in labs but outdoors in mulitlpe tests and locations and fanboys still cling on to isteves waistline to defend it,its the reason apple has got away with this so far and the reason its trying to get away with showing a comlpete lack of repsect for its drooling customers. I imagine any posts you have put up on an apple forum are still there as the hundreds of complaints comments have been deleted by apple :)
Hey, I'm really torn between Galaxy S and Iphone4 so there's some stuffs I want to ask about.
-How can an update solve the reception issue?
-Is the glass really that easily scratched as other phones?
-Is there any way to use Iphone as a storage media?
And lastly, are you all feeling safe about Apple seeing that some people are saying that Apple brush off these issues and is the Ihand thing real? I want to try Iphone but seeing how Apple is being unreliable in respect to Iphone4, it makes me worried.
Thanks in advance :)

Is there an app to block unknown and blocked numbers for the OS 4 for the iphone 3g?
Good Job apple another class action law suit
Keep the good work Steve :D
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2010Hi Damien, So far multi tasking hasn't taxed my iPhone at all. However, I am always switch... moreThanks for your reply. Good to see multitasking is working well. With 512mb of RAM, it should! My cousin has the phone, and she has had reception issues (she lives in LA). But I think the user experience and apps available will make me overlook this problem (fingers crossed I don't have big issues).

So far multi tasking hasn't taxed my iPhone at all. However, I am always switching between Beejive, Whatsapp, Facebook, and Safari only, with occassional phone call, sms in between. All operating like normal.
Reception issue. I want to tread carefully here, or the Android people will be all over me lol. Personally, I have not had any issues at all, and most guys I am in touch with (7 people) have also not reported issues. To be fair, I will say here, your mileage may vary. My friends are saying that it could be depending where you are.
Battery life is much better than my 3GS. My usage is similar to when I had the 3GS, but I find the battery lasts longer. With normal use, I can charge it every other day, even though I tend to prefer to charge it every night (obsessive hehe).
Based on my personal experience so far, and of my friends, I am very happy with the iPhone 4. It is great to own, and I really recommend it. If you are worried about the reception issue, you have options. One, Apple allows you to change your phone, or get a full refund. If you are still unsure, then wait for opinion once the software fix comes out.
I haven't had a chance yet to play on the iphone 4, but am due a new phone so am looking to get it. Just a few questions for current users.
- How is the multitasking function? Are you able to multitask with all apps, or just certain apps? And how many apps do people find they can have open before they start to notice some decrease in speed/performance?
- Is the reception issue really THAT bad? I've read on here that a case will fix this.
- How is the battery life? I had a 3g in the past and the battery was abysmal (barely lasted a day). I imagine it has improved tenfold. How often are you having to charge with "average" use (eg daily or 2nd daily)?
