Have you seen the LCD resolution?? there is no better and clean... morei notice you said lcd,a technology on the way out even last year but stilled used by apple again the fourth incarnation of iphone. Yes the slight extra resolution gives you the tiny bit extra sharperness but has far slower response rates and far less contrasts. Super Amoleds are always going to be better,a this moment maybe that 3 - 4 % less sharpness when zommed in at a ridiculous level that nobody views texts at but comsumes far less battery power with way better contrasts,slimmer in depth and 1ms response rates.
No doubt over the coming mnonths a super amoled screen with a resolution of greater than 800x480 will appear (more than likely 1280x 720 ish) and the iphones slight sharpness adavance will be gone and battery consumption in comparison will look stupid to even fanboys.
Who knows apples mat perhaps adopt super amoled next year,claim theyre changing the phone world completely by inventing it and charging fanboys a further obscene price for it

Adobe's PROPRIETARY Flash is vastly overrated.

"Consumer Reports has confirmed that the iPhone 4 has an antenna problem," says spokesman Mike Gikas. "We tested multiple iPhones as well as other phones from AT&T, and found that the problem is really only with the iPhone 4. Bottom line, we can't recommend the iPhone 4 until Apple fixes this design flaw."

The screen on the iphone 4 is ok...Apps are second to none, HOWEVER....it's a phone....a phone that is $HIT on reception!!! Camera...what 5mp...what day and age are you in? 2004??? I had a 4mp camera back in those days! We in 2010 now...where phones have 12mp camera! Wake up pal! Holding a phone that looks good and having $hit performance is not my idea of having a phone! Oh and er, I don't own a Samsung either!

It has just managed to get ahead by a mall margin, something will surpass it shortly. That's technology and that is the nature of the beast so to speak

alot of money paid for the ipho... moreThe iphone4's glass display is better than the 3gs'. Under normal use, it shouldn't scratch. My 3gs' display was scratch free when I sold it.
I do not get what you are trying to say about extra expenses for the iphone4. The iphone4's display will not get smashed by simply using it. You have to drop it hard on concrete to smash it, and I think any phone will incur damage in doing so, and in turn you may need to spend money if the hardware damage bothers you. And that is on ANY phone. As for the having to buy a bumper case. I will agree with you that it is an unnecessary extra expense if you can prove to me that a case never existed for any phone before the iphone4. People have been buying cases for their 3gs and other touhscreen phones and it's not a big deal. Why would it be a bug deal for the iphone4 to get a case for it?
Is the htc desire scratchproof and breakproof? Is there available cases for htc desire? If there is, why?

alot of money paid for the iphone 4s supposed superior 'design',alot of money will be repaid when the screen smashes,alot of money to be paid to get a bumper case to finally get reception,alot of money to be get insurance cover (some networks charge double the price per month to insure the 3gs alone next to competing phone...possible knowledge they definietly will have lots of claims over easily damaged screens?!)
Fun thing is the htc desire is a couple of hundred cheaper first day and isn't plagued like with extra hidden costs,providing you can get one...sold out everywhere!

No matter how hard they try to pull it down, people who go to the Apple Store are just mesmerized by the iphone4 and wants one. It is still sold out, and the only way really to get one right now is through preorder and reservation. Even with the media's aggressive negative paid publicity (exaggerated & isolated), the iphone is still a bestseller. It's because users realize, when they actually use the device, that it's an awesome device. After over two weeks of using an iphone4, I'm still impressed by its display and design. Haters should just give it up. Iphone4 rules.

no glass is unscratchable not in the price ranges installed in mobile phones...in fact some review sites of the iphone 4 have actually found they accidentally scratched it during the interview process...one or two saying it has the ability to scratch like plastic and smash like glass. No phone is entirely shielded against this thats acceptable,but the issue is apple apply massive marketing and claims to fanboys minds to install this belief and charge large amounts to have this so.
The apple pr machine has kicked into action in overload also with the attempt to stir emotion to convince fanboys to buy the iphone 4 with 'facetime' ads showing people almost crying at seeing each other on video calls! Video calling being around since 2006 on even basic phones (70 euro phones had it on 3g networks!) )and nobody gets that excited about it,it was a new short lived craze years back! at least apple did display the iphone 4 to iphone 4 and only over wifi on its ads

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2010So why don't you show something from some whiner regarding the iPhones reception issues that P... morea proper reply is clearly wasted on you as your clearly under the apple marketing control and have about 2 words in your dictionary...e71 and fail.....but the basic and massive control stucture apple has installed in its products will suit you as you clearly can mentally see the faults no matter how apparent and how many different medias report it. Futurama hit the nail on the head!
