just because it's highly popular doesn't make it the best phone ever.
it's a combination of amazing advertising and marketing, an elitist fanboy attitude, and a false sense of being unique (thanks to that multi-touch screen), combined with some above average quality manufacturing.
at the end of the day, this phone is behind the competition in term of technology. and most consumers in the US as sheep. it's why excellent marketing can sell a bad product quite easily. it's also why Apple is a good COMPANY, but it doesn't mean their products are the best. I too hold shares in Apple, but have never owned an Apple product in my life. Why? 1 reason, they're a good COMPANY.

Rumours are that Nokia are to sue Apple for copying the Death Grip. Nokia said that Apple have no right to copy this so called Death Grip as witnessed in the N97, N97 Mini and the E71 respectively. They argue that since these phones are a lot older than the Iphone4 it rightfully belongs to Nokia /*-/*
Other News, Nokia Share holders would have Steve jobs as CEO at Nokia any day. That old sun of a gun, he probably will be making money even after the real Death Grip gets him lol. Seen a couple of Nokia share holders rocking the iphone4 too.

today I went to a " prime " Apple store in the Miami area with my Iphone4 in my hand, asked to speak to the store manager.
I told him I am VERY satisfied with my Iphone4 and asked him how many returns they had in the store, i pointed out that the question was to a manager of a publicly listed company as I hold a lot of Apple shares, so the answer had to be straight:
we had a couple out of thousands and thousands we sold, if you want an Iphone4 now you have to wait three weeks.
Stop all of the nuisance, this is a GREAT product period.

It costs around 1100euros here in Greece! I don't understand why it is priced 900euros more than Samsung Jet though...

How many users are affected, many people are very happy with the improved call quality as tested by Anandtech.
The rest is a lot of whining from people who don't even have the phone.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2010you must be color blind as well seeing as the 3GS has a samsung screenIt's not an amoled screen it's custom made for Apple.
In case you didn't know this Samsung, LG and other companies make electronic parts as part of their main business.
It looks like HTC and Nokia won't be able to make many Amoled screen phones as Samsung and LG are the only companies that can make them.

But not ALL signal to the point of losing the connection. And most definitely their antennas aren't exposed like this, an accident waiting to happen.

Apple offers 30 day refund on iPhone 4 ? ? ? Funny, so it shows they know they screwed up, hahah! Mine is going back :-)

I wouldn't mind one but there are to many limitations. If I can't reflash a phone and mess around with it's software then I don't really want it.

To start with, I spend my day to day life handling phones selling them for a high street retailer in the UK . I've had my iPhone 4 since launch day ... It's stunningly fast, The cosmetic revamp is good (although obviously an iPhone) and the display is just a sight to behold. For veteran iPhone owners there are a few other things you'll prefer. The mute switch is solid , no longer will you accidentally mute your phone in your pocket. Unfortunately there is now a greater evil ...

But it seems like when it comes to the iphone, the media and the haters seem to make such a big deal of it as if this issue does not exist on other phones when it does as well. So of course Steve would have to reply "don't hold it that way" when asked about it. Other CEO's don't have to answer such a question because no one makes a big deal of it when it happens to their devices.

People have been buying cases for their past iphones for the last three years now, lol. And it's not only the iphone that people buy cases for. All other touchscreen phones have cases as well.
