so the gsmarena blog proves in its tests that the iphone 4 proximity sensor is indeed very faulty....what else is about to be found wrong with this expensive con?! More work for apple to try and cover its flaws
Its Old Technology Now, Many Mobiles Are 12 Mega Pixel, Just Apple Cashing in on you Punters.
@GSMARENA - when doing 360 deg photos lock the white balance! Or maybe iphone has weird colors :D

At the first glance, there is no significant difference between these 2 different generation of iphone.
I heard the signal is very very bad, is that true?
Mine (3GS) got a good signal.
i just bought a new iphone 4 from ebay two days ago.
thiz phone is awesome its responding is the best i have ever seen i sold my htc evo4 and bought the iphone 4.iphone 4 video clarity is better than evo4 and apps r the coolest one i mean apple has best apps than the android ones
Motorola v3 sold millions, because it was the popular thing to have. It did not pack that much features but it looked the business, so people wanted it.
I think Apple will call back all sold items, and fix the problem, else good bye iPhone, this is outrageous and unacceptable. Why should I pay $1000 for a phone that has a very poor signal. I was about to buy this phone, but I am really having second thoughts.

At the same time, if you were a phone company, I think you would want your phones to be good.... to drive sales. It just depends from who's perspective you are seeing things.
Not to mention, Apple invests a year-long worth of funds on only one device, but other company like Nokia invests on many devices. In that sense, if iPhone were still to perform badly in sales given the huge amount of budget, then something is very wrong.

Success includes various factors, like popularity, culture, trends, performance and a lot more. iPhone is definitely successful because of trends, popularity and stuff, but definitely not because of performance.
iPhone by no means is a bad phone, but it just isn't as good as many fan boy thought it was.
Lady Gaga is a successful singer. She sells a lot of albums, not because she sings well, but because she is popular. I hope this comparison makes you understand my point better.

Even Steve Jobs admitted tha... moreMy understanding of Iphone killer is this "A phone that is released and out performs the Iphone in each and every measurable sector" Something that no phone has been able to do to date.
At the end of the day you may call it brainwashing or what ever, success is really measured by how many units sold and the iphone 4 less than a month old, out sold all the phones you mention "been on the market for a while" on the day of release.
I use the HTC Desire and wouldn't trade it in for an Iphone all am saying is I do recognise the part the Iphone has played in bringing this industry up to speed. If phone spec were a measure of success then 1 or 2 other phones would be considered more successful but unfortunately it ain't.
sumyla, 06 Jul 2010how much to pay in india dis iphone4 mobileFor now, you would have to buy it from outside, or through someone who has imported the iPhone 4 into India, which may be a bit more expensive. In UK, it is £499 for the 16GB and £599 for the 32GB for a sim free (fully unlocked) model.
If you can wait, India should have an official launch in September.
[deleted post]Officially not yet. However, fully unlocked versions are available from the UK, France and Canada. They should work in India.
I think it doesn't matter whether you like or dislike the iPhone. Correct, this thread is for both sides. However, lets try and keep the comments sensible, whether you are a fan or hater.
Try to give objective comments, and those that add value to those who are actually looking for real information. Above all else, lets try and keep it respectful. I think with this approach, we will all benefit.
