There is no proper text reflow in IOS4. No NATIVE multitasking. No flashlite, No audio/video streaming. No J2me java, midp application support. No option to set mp3's as ringtones. No FLV for native videos, No XviD, no DivX playback support. It doesn't handle compression formats such as zip, rar, sfx etc... No access to any internal folders on with IOS4 or with the app store either. There are no bluetooth services when you pair with a macbook. Bluetooth profiles such as remote control A2DP protocols & AVRCP protocols don't fucntion with mojority of headsets on the marker either unfortunately. No Bluetooth filesharing support. No video call suppport with SKYPE, GTALK. Apps have to be specially coded to multi task. Any non istore app ill damage your phone. There is no proper platform security. No power optimzations in IOS4 either. Camera pictures are so high on noise reduction it smears the finer details. No video stabilization or ISO functions for camera mode either. No handwriting. No basic functionality such as sending contact cards via BT, TO-DO application, save web pages, calendar week view, etc There is no freeware, iTunes treats free applications like purchases + FairPlay DRM wrap. No privacy for online shops or visited websites functions for web browser. No videos such as 19:9, 16:10 or 4:2 will fit it has to be apples only custom 3:2. Unconventional aspect ration screen. There is no haptic feedback. The screens aren't touch friendly because you can't use pens, styluses, gloves or finger nails don't work. No USB charging without dock adaptors. No DLNA video streaming either (Streaming HD content Wireless on a HDTV.) There is no UPNP (Wireless Plug 'n play) either. GPRS/EDGE is only class 10 when most new devices are using faster Class 33 GPRS/EDGE. 3G is only supporting upto UMTS HSDPA 7.2Mbps whereas newer handsets support over 10.2Mpbs. Apples doesn't give a toss about the environment theres are tons of Iaccessories but no short cables instead. No standard USB conecction. You need a special custom apple USB connection cable. The camera sensor is only 72dpi for 5Mp camera, most other mobile 5mp camera sensors are larger than 72dpi sensors. No stereo speakers, Fm radio or Fm transmitter. You can't eject the Microsim without a special apples key which isn't included either as standard. No removable battery unit, you have to do a hard reset is something goes wrong like you jailbroke it or it takes a special qualified engineer to get it out for oyu you can't do it yourself. No hot swappable memory MicroSD external memory card. IPOOO

If your battery goes bad you need to service it at an Apple store or send it away for service. And if I'm tethered to all 8 devices I think I would be using the plug to electricity in the wall. I live in America and don't care if my phone will work in Europe - I don't get there much. And AT&T won't have what you have in speeds over there until late 2011 if they're lucky, and it wouldn't matter to all you iPhone 4 users... that phone is not a 4g phone. You'll need to upgrade again. There's a sucker born every minute but in Apples case... there were 1.7 million so far.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2010they may have sales of over 1.7 million, how many will be refuned. don't get too worried the federal government will do a massive recall if this problem still exist for a long time.
apple will also do that too because the iphone is the number one selling smartphone on the planet.

after reading gsmarena review bout ios4 i think iphone4 is ROCK because:
* No Flash support in the web browser
* No true multitasking for all applications
* iOS4 for iPhone 3G has limited new feature set
* Poor performance on iPhone 3G
* No quick toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 3G
* No social networking integration
* No info widgets on lockscreen or homescreen
* SMS tones are still not customizable
* No mass mark emails as read
* No proper file browser or access to the file system
* No USB mass storage mode
* No vibration feedback when touching the screen
* No Bluetooth file transfers to other mobile phones
* Contacts lack a swipe-to-delete or mass delete feature
* No SMS/MMS delivery notifications
* No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a somewhat of a substitute)
* No DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that
* The whole iPhone is too dependent on iTunes - you cannot add the same type of content (video, photos, apps) to the phone from two computers, a regular file management interface would have been much better
plus u can put ur iphone4 into offline mode by touching the bottom.its cool people will love it.
so dont waste ur money anymore and decide it now to buy

Mr Jobs is trying to convey that you people out there do not know how to hold your phones.

I have never experienced any such issue with any brand of phone.

I mean, if your phone has an issue, please confess, but dont teach people how to hold their phones.
uckily all this came to light, otherwise people would assume AT&T is at fault for bad network. But AT&T is only in the US not World over.
Aaaaahhhhhh, all this is just so funny.
You know what people, I would suggest that you go ahead and get yourself an android phone or maybe wait for Nokia N8, trust me, you would not regret your decison.
Even President Obama and his family, do not use an Iphone.
They have Nokias.

Only someone who doesn't know sh*t about electronics and RF would wait and hope that a software release will solve the problem CORRECTLY!!! Sure they might say that the signal loss will be less noticeable after the update, because your radio is on full power (brain tumors anyone?) and even the occasional scam in the bars to elude users by thinking that signal strength is up, but in the end, it will still be faulty.
Reminds me of a guy I knew that was asked to fix the problems in an assembly line and that kept triggering alarms in the control room. After analysing the problem, he came up with a solution 2 weeks later. At first everyone was pleased because no more alarms were fired :-D But then they noticed that despite the absence of alarms, the assembly line still wasn't working correctly?!?!
Result: the guy didn't fix the problems, he just removed from programming all the conditions that would make the alarms go off ;-)
And before you come back replying that this will solve the problem correctly, tell me why did Stevie tell everyone to hold your phone differently if there was a fix for the problem?
It's like buying a car and after taking a left turn your right wheel falls off, the carmaker tells you to avoid turning left and if you really need to turn left, do a 270º to your right! Sigh...

Far too expensive. Costs more than double that of a Nokia n8. Only 5 megapixels, N8 has 12 megapixels. N8's HD video, HD screen too. FM radio. Iphone can't do radio.

Sync a Apple Mac with Android, Symbian or other is so difficult.
Sync a Iphone with a Apple Mac ... too simple
