If Toyota makes the best cars, why are there other makes of cars?
It's because not everyone likes Toyotas regardless of their value or quality.
Different strokes for different folks, but some people just don't get it.

I was in Ukraine with my Garmin Nuvi 1450 and it took an hour to lock a GPS satellite signal. By the time I got the signal, my battery was drained. My friend pulled out his iPhone 3GS and we were able to get Google maps to go where we needed to go.
I got to the center of town and my Canon Powershot ran out of battery as well. I forgot my charger back in Los Angeles and my wife forgot to tell me that she had used the camera all weekend prior to my trip.
I was in the lobby of the hotel waiting for a co-worker to arrive. I wish I had a small device to surf the internet via the hotel's free wifi. My laptop was up in my room.
So, I don't need leading edge technology. I just need the technology at my fingertips that fits my lifestyle.

Can you please name me a device 3 yrs ago... moreThe point I was trying to make about 3 year old technology is that in this day and age a 'market leading' company such as Apple (who does not manufacture their own parts mind you, most of it is 'borrowed' from Samsung) should be producing 'market leading' devices with 'market leading' features. Something like an 8MP camera, 'true' bluetooth and GPS that isn't assisted would be a nice start. Who knows, maybe for a change Apple could release something new that the world has not seen before, instead of just compiling old, outdated features

Still photos and HD video clips taken by the iPhone 4 look good. It's gonna be fun taking photos and uploading them to my online photo site.
Industrial design looks good too. I like the size and the form-factor of this phone.
The features fit my needs.

That was a nice review at engadget.com on the iPhone 4.
By the way, the iPhone 4 is not for everyone, but it sure seems that everyone is here reviewing the iPhone 4 -- even the haters.
I wonder if the radiation levels on the iPhone 4 are gonna be as low as they've been in the past. I sure hope they are not as high as the Nokia and Sony phones who put out much higher radiation levels.

Ho rayy... iphone owners finally can make folders and do so-called intelligent multitasking, which is like a multitask but not that good, that i have been enjoying and forgot that i have it on my cheap Nokia 6 or 7 years ago. Go on Apple, keep sucking blood little by little for those who stupid enough by your marketing.
And to iphone fan: how did u see this superior to the current do it all HTC Desire?

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2010Out of curiosity, have you ever used an N97?N97 is a good..phone only good for styling..or showing off when they keyboard flips out...i used it for a year..its a very..slow...phone it eventually pissed me off..and i sold it...and got a bold..then a htc hero..which was one of the best phones..im getten a htc legend tomorrow..and gonna sell it since its exclusive right now in canada and get a iphone 4. HTCs are one the best phones out.

Don't hate. It's not nice.

This phone is so weak. 3 year old technology in a new handset is just dumb. Apple wuold be nothing without other companies such as Samsung and Microsoft. Why won't apple release a range of handsets as opposed to just one handset a year? I hate Apple so much and in my oppinion Steve Jobs is useless. Send in Steve Ballmer and then the company will produce devices with 100x better quality!

hey guys i heard that the iPhone 4 will now have removable storage and be able to be used as a portable disk drive at double the speed of most other handsets. it will also support HSDPA at a peak speed of 10.2 Mb/s like the new nokias instead of the old 7.2 Mb/s
i think that's really cool
