1) its not apples fault if FaceTime is strictly over WIFI for 2010. Thats a carrier problem--duh
2) You mention your biased sourced story that I read from about Amoled superiority and the study that talks of Apples claim of the what the eye can or can't see. The Fact is the Retina display is still the highest Res phone out wit highest pixel density--even Engadget.com agrees..
3)HD video recording might not be nothing new but iMovie is. Apple is safely years ahead of the comp in at-least doing something different.
finally, Higher CPU in mobiles don't necessarily mean a better user experience. The iOS4 will still be a smoother better OS due from the best hard/software optimization.
3) you be-little apples claim of thinnist phone--still its the thinnest...

See how the brainwashed Nokia sheep defend their laggy phone's.
It's so bad they can't even see that lagging and freezing are some of the main reasons Nokia has been losing high end marketshare.
So you say Symbian doesn't need 1GHz and 512MB, yeah sure is that why it takes ages for transitions and you get a few seconds of blank screen when turning the phone.

Yes face talk for example changes everything apparently as does the year old 1ghz processor

face time i.e. video call i can do that on my 4 year old sony ericson k750 all of a sudden apple have inventered something thats been around before the first iphone was brought out as usual apple invent things that all ready excsist and give them a different name as for the iphone4 whens the iphone5,6,7and 8 coming out

well the UK iPhone tarrifs have now been released - no doubt they will be the same on every network as apple will be dictating what can and cannot be offered.
here's an example: 24 months - 600m unlimited sms, 1gb mobile data, wifi - £35 per month and upfront handset cost of £209.
Compared to its nearest competitor - the HTC desire which isnt a million miles away in terms of spec - you can get the same deal for £450 less over the contract period.
The latest iPhione just isnt that much better to justify the huge difference in price so its clear that Apple are basically just taking the mick now.
Attaching a little piece of white plastic shaped like an apple to a phone simply doesnt increase its value by that much.
Then of course we have the issue with apple's control freakery - but dont even get me started on that

Why so many keep saying these 1ghz processor etc. have been other phones for while? are you guys silly? that's so stupid thinking. Samsung/htc example making maybe six phones in year :D of course they are ahead. Apple make one phone in one year, of course they are coming late to same specs so what? It hasn't slowing iphones sells and doesn't slow in future

It has many firsts in the industry.
1. 4 times more clear... moremost of these are not firsts in the industry by any means.
1 ghz processors in phones since end of autumn last years. Iphone nearly 3/4 of year behind. Current android phone about to use the new 1.5 ghz chips,even 2ghz android phones on the way over the coming months
Iphone does use 326 px indeed but trying to claim others all use 165 is stupid,thats what previous dated iphones use. Most top current competitiors hit in around 260-290 px per inch depending on the phone model. 160x 120 extra pixels on a 3.5 inch screen is as experts analysed it at 4% noticeable. 300 px is not the human eye limit,experts have deemed it to be about 480px...a fact apple seemed to have overlooked to hook in fanboys.
no amoled or superamoled depsite amoled being in phones for over a year and a half meaning iphones contrast is 800:1 and some amoled phones hit 100,000:1
and 1ms repsonse rate.
thinnest phone ever...maybe but by half a mm or so...well done apple great achievement.
Multi tasking...even now still not properly inplement in iphone os despite it being out over four years while android ahs been doing it since day one
hd recording: available in phones since last autumn. Samung h1 360 had hd recording about in last october,many phones have it since the turn of this year.
Video calling...barely available now on iphone 4 to iphone 4 only and only over wifi while phones have been on the market for years whith this feature and over 3g also.
Iphone is just about struggling to keep pace,all its components have been available in competitors for some time now.its success purely down to influenced fanboys aggreeing with Steve Jobs every 'this is what you want' and 'look cool' statements.
Apple have barely updated the menu and its features over the years,simply releasing 'new' models annually all with 'new' features which should have been easily been implemented in the previous years model,slight tweeks while all the time hiking bigger prices on board for stuff which other phones have been using for extended times before. Some prices just dont make sense like a 100 euro differnece between a 16gb and 32 gb iphone model while 16gb micro sd cards can be got from 40 euro. Apple making 60 euro alone on your memory decison

It has many firsts in the industry. 1. 4 times more clear... morewell,for your info. i should say except display and geyroscope we had all other features you have said for atleast 4 years on other phones.do not give wrong info about this phone.it is only another phone like every other phone out there with it's own - and + points.the era of introdusing a phone that takes down every other brand is over and no company can repeat the success of N95 and first Iphone even nokia and apple themselves 'cause they are going to make 2ghz and dualcore phones soon and they will outperform every other existing phone today in at most next 6 to 12 months so i think it's not wise to get excited about any phones out there yet,the competition is just started
