You guys buy an 600-800 euro phone with a features of around 350-450 euros phone. Haw haw haw haw haw what a laugh. WEll anyway I am going to buy Nokia 5800 xm. Only around 200 euros and much of same features than this. Only worse In the 5800 are the camera(but better flash) and CPU. And the display also a little(still better than previous iPhones). (So I go for A 400 euros cheaper phone with almost same features). ANd IS THERE REALy A REASON TO PAY OVER 600 EUROS FOR A PHONE THAT HAS THE SAME FEATURES THAN OTHER BRANDS GIVE YOU AROUND 400 EUROS. WELL NO.
N8 or any Nokia product can't compete with the new Iphone in my books because Apple is in a class of it's own.
Nokia are becoming boring.
Don't get me wrong everyones entitled to there opinions but your getting the iphone haters trying to diss the new iphone4 and it's not even been released yet that's not very clever or are you guys just bored or jealous?
Something you wouldn't admit to but i'm sure the number of iphone fans here would agree with me on that :-)
People seem to forget the Iphone has only been out for about 4 years and still the baby competing with the rival h/sets out there and is kicking Nokia and all the others ass's for the 4 years it came into the competition.
Nokia and all the other providers have had years experience but hasn't offered anything new.
Iphone 4 Yes I can't wait i'm excited so all the others can go bye bye.
Steve Jobs your the Daddy :-)
Its interesting to read about so many comments on N8 and IP4. But most comparisons favored the IP4. However, given the fair feature comparison, N8 is better in terms of value for money for its huge megapixel camera, MMC slot and removable battery. Since 32GB MicroSD is available now, the flagship IP4 should at least double the capacity, unfortunately it is max at 32GB. Even the rating for the IP4 is all time low for the mighty Iphone. In this regards, N8 will sell very well, more than the IP4.
Wow,its awesome..................way better than the 3Gs!!!it has a 5MP cam with a flash,and superb features tooo!its awesome.
Anonymous, 18 Jun 2010But overall, Apple is worht more than RIM, so who cares? :)my point is that if apple want to take full control of the mobile market the need to in R.I.M market but they wouldn't be abel to bo so because business professional use blackberry because they could swap files on a sd card & replace the battery.. whatever the need to do.
blackberry also allow you to truthfully install third party apps & software, that wouldn't be possible with apple iphone.
but the iphone is the best touch screen device out their hands down.
also in the past-three Years i have been saying that i post crazy comments to get into all of your heads & i did a great job @ doing so.
peace my brother.....................XXX
ya u r right but steve jobs has just sleared to introduce face time over 3G after 2010
oats, 18 Jun 2010You can't compare a Nokia N8 with the new Iphone 4 because the 3gs kills off the N8.

wat the f r sayin.its can compared with 3g s in price only so take a chill dont get xited
this phone is way better then the hct desire becuase it comes in black or white it is multicultral and the hct desire is only brown its racist
You can't compare a Nokia N8 with the new Iphone 4 because the 3gs kills off the N8.
I've played and tested the N8 and it's not even close to the iphone 3gs so don't be letting someone who clearly can't afford the iphone 4 tell you that the N8 is better because it doesn't even come close.
On the launch date compare how many units of the new iphone 4 sells compared to the N8 and then see who wins the argument.
Yup I love the iphone because It's the best
Iphone 4 is the best check out the daily interest on popularity on here and see the difference with all the providers.
There's no such thing as the Iphone killer, They claimed that the Palm Pre was the Iphone killer and then the company became bankrupt.
That's a clear warning to all the phone companies out there apple are the best and above microsoft I know my facts :-)
i forget to introduce d most tlkd abt feature in apple iphone i.e. videocalling aka Face Time which only wrks over wifi
apple is gr8 manufacture but i dont understand the meaning of restricting video calling only to wifi
d best feature intorduced is multitasking in amazing manner and managing ur application by creating folders which is quite easy
and finally the retina display which increases its pixels as compared to nokia n8 but in my opinion it doesnt matter a lot
...., 18 Jun 2010guys i need to ask you about the microsim. my SP doesnt provide those is there a way i could i... moreTake your own sim and cut it down to micro sim size but you cant go back then or use it in another phone.
nw its time to tell discuss d positive and negative aspects of Nokia n8 and Apple Iphone 4
1.nokia n8 uses symbian3 as their new operating system which is still considered to be unresponsive and slugish while Iphone4 uses IOS4 which is quite responsive and fast
2.Iphone 4 uses custom glass on front and back panel which makes it quite fragile while N8 uses AL frame
Iphone 4 is slimmer thn nokia n8 but tht make much difference
3.the biggest differnce between nokia n8 and apple Iphone 4 is d price
nokia n8 is expected to cost around 25000k or 370 euros or arnd 500$
apple iphone 4 is as always supposed to be overpriced
it cost $624(32 gb model)
one of new feature in nokia n8 design is its battery cover
Nokia N8 vs Apple Iphone 4

Iphone 4 consist of a steel frame and custom glass on front and back
Nokia n8 consist of a aluminum frame with diamond cutting which provide us opportunity to choose between different colours
Iphone 4 consist of a4 processor capable of running at 1ghz
N8 uses as usual ARM11 processor (680 MHz)
Iphone 4 has 5MP camera which clicked sme amazing photos

June 17 (Bloomberg) -- As Apple Inc. struggles to meet demand for the latest version of the iPhone, Nokia Oyj is still waiting to ship its only model that may compete.
The Finnish company has announced just one handset, the N8, from its new high-end line based on revamped Symbian 3 software, while Apple’s recently unveiled iPhone 4 is flying off virtual shelves with 600,000 pre-orders and other vendors are rolling out models with Google Inc.’s Android software.
“The smartphone revolution has started and Nokia is not there,” said Helena Nordman-Knutson, a Stockholm-based analyst at Oehman. The N8 “will be old when it’s out because everybody has taken the next step.”
The world’s largest mobile-phone maker yesterday lowered revenue and margin forecasts, citing competition in the high-end smartphone market and showing that its fortunes in the application-rich iPhone segment may not turn before 2011. Chief Executive Officer Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo has struggled to deliver on a touchscreen model on a par with the Apple device.
Nokia said in April that the N8 will be shipped sometime in the third quarter. It is also slated to introduce a second line of high-end devices running the MeeGo operating system developed with Intel Corp. at an unspecified date this year.
Investors punished Nokia, sending its shares down 9 percent to 7.22 euros in Helsinki yesterday, the lowest level since March 9, 2009. The stock drop put the market value of Nokia at 27 billion euros ($33.3 billion), below the $34.4 billion of rival Research In Motion Ltd. and Apple’s $240 billion.
