It's got a slower processor.

Nokia weren't even the one's to introduce Symbian, they had to copy Ericsson then it took them eight years to add a touchscreen.
Besides YOU CAN'T GET an N8 until the end of the year.

It's confirmed. Iphone4 has 512mb of RAM. That equates to smooth running of apps, smoother web surfing, even smoother overall phone operation, and smoother multitasking. Awesome :)

I for one never loaded those kind of apps. There are tons of useful apps for free from the App Store. It's obvious that you have not even tried it, lol. And don't lie. The iphone never hangs. If it does, it's very, very rare.

[deleted post]Hey at least with iPhone's YOU HAVE TO PLUG THEM IN to a computer running iTunes, guess what EVERY TIME you do that it makes a BACK UP of EVERYTHING on your iPhone.
So if you lose it, it get's damaged or you get a new one you ALWAYS have a back up from the last time you synced it.
Then people whine "Why do I have to plug it into iTunes", as if it's a bad thing.

That is not true about everytime you acces app store they charge you. The only time you get charge is when you purchase something for its face value.

I used all brands of phones and found good in each one of them. I waited until over half a year after apple launched the 3G because I refused to buy it cause it lacked everyday things that other cell phones did normally. But I gave in because i knew you could hack the Iphone and get these other options. So I did.
The Iphone is the best cell phone that I ever used and I bought the 3Gs and gave my 3G to my wife, and now am waiting for my Iphone 4 already pre-orderd and will retire my 3gs to my wife. They came a long way and fixed all the stuff that was not there in the past. Nothing can compare. The Iphone is an all around phone that you can be happy with. Apple does it well. Once you go Iphone, you will never go back!

Some people like iphone,others prefer nokia,sony ericsson,samsung,moto,blackberry etc.
all people except the iphone lovers,stick to your desired devices,pls don't blame this phone... if you don't like this phone,get the hell out of here...
by the way this iphone could have done much better in terms of connectivity,features & compatibility... a whole new bunch of features are available on this phone,but some essentials are still missing,the app store is there but it charges everytime you access it... hope iphone 5 will be the first & best compact smartdevice of the apple company...

Everyone stop this.If u want a hd camera/camcorder,go get one out of the plenty,for web surfing & media synchronization,there is a regular computer for you,& for gaming,get a highest-end graphics card for your computer,honestly,all iphones are mere nothing but to style & show off,if you have enough bucks to afford that,go get one out of 4 or 3,simple... but just stop arguing on which one is better & which one is outdated... technology is open & almost everyday a few new things are invented... this is a place to post our opinion about this iphone,not to quarrel or blame other devices & people... peace...

Even with cars you have to pay extra for getting more extra features. You would pay more for a spoiler, a navigation system, bigger wheels, bi xenon headlamps, etc. Notto mention you have to pay gas whenever you run out. OS updates on the iphone are free. With cars, you have to pay for its scheduled maintenance. Plus, you pay monthly insurance as well. So what now, huh?

no u cant use your normal sim card, a micro sim is a smaller sim card..like a micro memory card is smaller than the normal memory cards.

I would like to highlight the fact that NOKIA N8 has better camera, bigger screen, better resolution, better design. apple applications are good, but the iPhone goal is not to achieve a good phone, it is just marketing.
Nokia 5800 even exceeded our iPhone too
