Do you know what that means?
For games the iPhone 4G will know precisely where it is, combined with the accelerometer and magnetometer it's a whole LOT OF GAMING AWESOMENESS never seen before.
Apple have built the API's into the OS so it's simple for developers to take advantage of it.
Keep your lame old phone's this phone and the next iPod Touch will usher in a new era of mobile gaming which will take ages for the wannabes to copy.

As far as im aware the processing speed is 1ghz, ... moreHei Cole, i think you are being manipulated by iphone ads, there is so much better phone than iphone out there, take N8 and windows phone 7 for example? They already catching up with iphone, seriously why do u want to spend so much just for a phone, this is ridiculous and after one year u get the price cut to half..
I;m really sick with scam, seriously dont praise apple product so much they are not that good. Ok peace.

This a good improvement to the last phone....BUT...i think that apple need to now delelop a good battery which will allow us to use the phone for longer. Most phones nowdays have good features etc, but the battery doesnt last as long. I know that the improved hardware needs more power which will lead to more power being used etc.... but if any company wants to really upgrade the hardware with future phones, they should concentrate on battery life first. It would be good to go through a couple days without orrying to recharge.

As far as im aware the processing speed is 1ghz, the same as the iPad and the HTC Desire.
There have been some major improvements from the iPhone 3GS such as the size, camera, front facing camera, high res retina display and the new glass design.
In my opinion i still prefer the curvey design of the 3G models, but im interested to feel this design in my hand.
Obviously this phone is going to be more expensive than its competition, the HTC Desire, X10 etc but i feel obliged to buy one now my Hero as just packed in... plus working for a mobile network has its... discount benefits.
The iCult as some would like to call it will definately be going mad for this device, i'm looking forward to seeing its sales figures.

This phone sucks in features and Design.It may only win in performance when it is released.The design of the 3GS beats this.

I like the iPhone, I use it but apple are making one giant mistake. On the web it costs 199 USD for 16Gb in the states and 02 in uk are looking 399 pounds for that same model...
This is dumb!
Does anyone know how I can get it from the states?
Ps do not mention "alibaba" that is a great place for getting ripped off.

telstra sucks, too expensive n their plans r not competitive either, where as optus n vodafone unlocking the iphone for $75 to $80
i would rather get from optus or other !!!!!

No other phone's have that, the Nintendo DS doesn't have it, the PSP doesn't have it, the X-Box 360 is getting it the PS3 isn't.
I wonder how long it will take the useless old phones to catch up.

I sold my iPhone 3GS to O2 recycle for £245.00 then pre-ordered the iPhone 4. only had to pay £354.00

And again, the preorder delivery date for iphone4 has been pushed to July 17. Meaning, the July 2 shipment for preorders have again sold out. And this happened on its 2nd day of preorders. This new iphone4 is phenomenal. At&t already confessed the other day that this preorder launching is the biggest they've had in At&t history. That just says a lot on how well accepted iphone4 is among consumers.
Can't wait to pick up mine on the 24th :)

noplease, 17 Jun 2010Nokia? With Symbian? Are you kidding me? I never want a Symbian phone again! And dont tell me... moreand whats new with iphone os Ui its not out dated ? its the same boring Ui since 4 years every year they add some features which other Os had it 7 years ago .
