Anonymous, 16 Jun 2010Funny you should say that. This phone is oudated even before it comes out.Well a lot of people like vintage products. The iphone4 already had over 600,000 preorders. Which means, a lot of people like using an outdated device as you called it :)

I see so many negetive reviews on the Iphone and I just scratch my head and laugh. There are 3 type of people out there...
1. Your mad becuse your stuck in a contrcat and and cant get out :(
2. Cant afford it
3. You have it and would never use another device again!

The ATT only lockdown is bogus.
I have a 3GS from Australia sim-free unlocked. It runs on T-Mobile, but only on 2G. ATT only allows iPhones if you sign a contract. So, so greasy.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2010It has a screen resolution of 960x640 so tell me what does it have to "catch up" to?... moreu think pixel resolution is novelty or invention? Old LG viewty smart and crystal has pixel density of abt 311 pixel/inch, this phone has abt 330. Its not something new.

[deleted post]It doesn't do videocalls the old fashioned way using a 64k stream that phone networks use, it uses a new chat based protocol.
It's open source so others will be able to use it on computers for example.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2010Also video conference is only through wifi and only to an another iphone 4.So lame and outdated.So new using a new open source chat protocol developed by Apple, a protocol which will punch through firewalls to communicate at a higher level than the 64k stream phone networks use.
64k is why videocalls have had such low quality in the past.

I am not impressed at all. I would expect something more from iPhone and looking at specification it isn't 4G phone but still 3G. Lookg like it only 4 generation of iPhone. Comparing it to Nokia N900 with Maemo5 (Linux) I would buy Nokia....
