i dont know, i doubt the user experience is better with a ferrari than a mondeo. quite frankly, id rather own a mondeo than have a ferrari and look like a total idiot.
oh, and having an fm radio is great, and no, internet radio is not the same.

What the..., 14 Jun 2010Hmm... Why some iSheeps insist that apple RELEASED the first touch phone in the world? To al... morehmmm maybe apple wasnt the first...but definately the best...i work for a cellular store ive used all other touch screen phones by all brands that do them and can safely say that apple iphone is the best by far!
Why are people comparing a car with a h/set on here? Sounds like there going a little bit too far.
Anyways about the iphone, The iphone as mentioned from day one is the best h/set out there and for those who don't believe just wait till it gets launched.
Nokia, Samsung and Sonyericsson won't know what's hit them
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010It's Wi-Fi only on video calls because of AT&T's restrictions, not Apple's... nice try thoso because AT&T doesn't have the capability to videocall over 3g means that the whole world can't use videocall over 3g? that's b*llcr*p: apple just can't make it work. if they could they would have done so, and provided AT&T a version with the videocall blocked on 3g
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010It's Wi-Fi only on video calls because of AT&T's restrictions, not Apple's... nice try thoAT&T restrict you to make video call?? are you telling me i could use the iphone4 to make video call with a different provider apart from AT&T? or are just making this up?
What's next... Sandisk restrict apple to use a card slot?? Duracell and EverReady restrict apple users to replace their own battery lol hahaha
I don't live near a farm... but i do smell bull$hit here
sad but cute.... some iphone users are living in denial lol
K, 14 Jun 2010Lol you have missed my point in a big way!!!!! A Ferrari may not have high end specs like a lo... moreBefore you accuse me for saying something else or confuse yourself again....
I never said poor quality.... i said built cheaply. I know other manufacturers have their phone assembled else where, mostly in Asia (because of cheap labor).
Do you think Ferrari will do the same?? Where do they design, built & manufactured Ferrari cars? that's why i said the iPhone is more like a BMW X3.
If apple was a car manufacturer. It will not be even close to be on par with Ferrari in reputation, quality and innovations. Please don't use Ferrari or other genuine quality manufacturers for your apple support... it's insulting.
As i said... i love my cars and gadgets
It's Wi-Fi only on video calls because of AT&T's restrictions, not Apple's... nice try tho
Hmm... Why some iSheeps insist that apple RELEASED the first touch phone in the world?
To all iSheeps:
Try to ask google or other search engines for the first touch phone ever created by man... Don't worry iSheeps if iPhone is NOT the first touch phone ever made because iPhone is apple's first touch phone they made in their business.
Actually, I don't know what is the TRUE first touch phone ever made in the history of mobile phones. I am still searching what is the true first mobile phone utilized the touchscreen as the main control on the phone's own UI.
In my own search (I used google), some people say that Ericsson R380 is the first true touch phone made. While others say that Nokia 7700 is the first.
i xpected more than this especially as far as the memory is concerned at least 64gig or 160gig wil have ben great
K, 14 Jun 2010Lol you have missed my point in a big way!!!!! A Ferrari may not have high end specs like a lo... moreK , all points very well made, clear message. but i think the divys will not understand, ( thats y they think nokia 7349's are better , snigger )
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010It cost me nothing £0.00 BIG FAT ZERO to use the radio function on my mobile phone MATE.... moreRadio isn't an essential feature in a phone. There are plenty of free radio Apps as well. I chose to pay for mine.
If that makes me a sheep then Baaaa Baaaaa. The iPhone is great :)
Is bluetooth again limited I mean only headset support? No data transfer bluetooth?? :0
internal memory could have been more. i think 32gb is gonna dry up to the space of lusty applications
M3, 14 Jun 2010"Nokia n900 is like comparing a Ford Mondeo with high specs to a Ferrari (Apple). All tha... moreLol you have missed my point in a big way!!!!! A Ferrari may not have high end specs like a lower cost model may have. Take a Vauxhall Vectra for example. It's cheaper, may have built in features like SatNav, AirCon, heated seats etc... But is the overall driving experience better than a Ferrarii just because it has 100's of more features? I think not!!!!
A lot of mobile phones are made in Asia, Inc Nokia! I had an 8800 Arte which was made in Taiwan! Just because the iPhone is made in China, are you trying to imply it's of poor quality? Millions of iPhone sales and happy customers prove you wrong mate! The iPhone is that good, which proves the factory in China where it's made from is doing a great job!
And I'm hearing about this dumb test of dropping the iPhone 4 on the floor 3 times in a row. If you have butter fingers then it's only worth your whole buying a cheap Nokia or something. It's like me smashing a hammer on the windscreen of a BMW 7 series and then saying "oh look everyone, the windscreen smashes"!!!! Ha ha
K, 14 Jun 2010Lol I'm not from the US mate! I'm from the UK.
All UK networks offer a bundled data package... moreIt cost me nothing £0.00 BIG FAT ZERO to use the radio function on my mobile phone MATE....
Apple strategy
£1.19 for radio apps... now times that by how many iPhone owners who needs radio???... poor sheeps
K, 14 Jun 2010Ok first things first. Corby Lover, Apple never released the 1st touchscreen device mate. But ... more"Nokia n900 is like comparing a Ford Mondeo with high specs to a Ferrari (Apple). All that great specs but the overall user experience is much better with a Ferrari!!!!
Are you telling us ferrari have outdated tech (i am talking about 3-6years old) but they drive amazingly well? Are you telling us Ferrari design cars but built in China for cheap labour? You haven't got a clue what you are talking about.
It is an insult to Ferrari when you put apple in the same league..... are you on drugs?
iPhone is more like a BMW X3, Struggle with basic functions (off road vehicle who cant do off road properly) design in california, built cheaply from china (design in Germany, built cheaply in the US of A) App store (Optional Extras) Premium price for handset and tariff (very high maintenance costs)
I own an M3 and a smartphone.... just incase you think i am some sort of fan boy. i love my cars and gadgets :)
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010Don't think you considered the world outside the US did you? Its great you dispense your knowl... moreLol I'm not from the US mate! I'm from the UK.
All UK networks offer a bundled data package and the radio App does not consume heavy data. Plus the App is free over WiFi. The radio Apps will play any ads if they are free Apps, however that's the case with some free Apps. I paid £1.19 for the TuneIn Radio App and I have to say it's brilliant.
