Apple has the best software on the planet. iPhone 3Gs was the best phone, no mater
the camera / cpu specs. Works smooth , no errors or lag or crashes. Now iPhone 4
will be faster and more specfull. It costs 560euro, it's equal at price with other high end phones.

Why would apple video calling from iphone 4 to just iphone 4, and they say its a great new feature. Video calling has been around for more than 5+ years. Apple is a multimedia organisation and not a mobile phone organisation. Hence nokia, samsung, blackberry are a head of apple in regards with mobile phone specifications.

why is everyone moaning about the camera. 5mp is just enough.. i dont use the camera anyways and why would you when you can buy a proper camera :/?

Why would Apple restrict the SIM card use to microSIMs? Is this some form of blue ocean strategy where they are trying to redefine the market? wot percentage of the world uses these SIMs? These people should be realistic

lol, it's funny how people bring up "home screens" XD. FYI, every mobile OS has "home screens" that you can pan to the right and/or to the left :O o-m-g. if you want everything in the iphone then just jailbreak it. then you'll have everything that every other mobile OS has, but it'll look prettier and be implemented better

if u want eye candy n multiple homescreens stc go for android,if want to do anything with u r phone sending,usin without any fancy ui go for nokia,if u want to to evrythin after byin u r phone n makin video calls on wifi with only other similar phone on other side n still u think "how cool is it"go for iphone

dont we all seem to be getting way off topic here,its supposed to be oppinions on the iphone4 not bashingevery other phone and os known to man and geek .at the end of the day the 3gs had 2 major major failings crap camera and no 'proper' bluetooth,they have at least fixed one of these.the iphneis great at what it does,but it is limited

Maybe you misunderstand me. I newer say that Nokia is ridiculous. Cause that is not true. Apple just re invented things which Nokia deliver on world market first.

Nothing. Famous screen presented on new iPhone is just peanut if you compare new Nokia hardware.
Apple re invented 3GS again.
Think and tell me, what is main reason for somebody to throw away 3GS and to buy 4?

As I said previously iPhone 4 is just another fancy toy and not worthy even half of the money.

Yes it is true that OS framework/Core needs some "API" to get the hardware working, but the "features" are there. If the SoC/chip says that it supports HDMI, then Apple would just need to put HDMI to the iPhone and make "options" to it in a matter of days. Adding hardware is not a problem, however that is up to the company to decide.
Yes, I know about Symbian as I have five different devices, the newest one being the N95 8Gb so I know about the OS. You do realize that Apple would only need to unlock, maybe add to the Bluetooth stack, to do that right? It's not a hardware problem, it's an OS thing.
However, have you ever realized that those so called "dumb people" have been able to do that and more with just jailbreaking? I wonder how dumb those people are that they know how to jailbreak their iPhones, hmmmm makes you thinker don't it :)?
You do know that nothing is approved yet for the design of S^4 right? It's all concept.
Hopefully you're not one of those people who says that multitasking on the iPhone is not really multitasking because you have to press the home key and open an app and repeat the process for every app that you want open :).
However, I'm quite intrigued with your way of looking at smartphones being "dumbed down" just because of the UI/UX.

All u guys supporting in favor or symbian are gone dumb i guess. i have been using every symbian phone for the past 5 years and i can truly say it sucks when compare to iphone.
just look at iphone gorgeous screen and its user friendly OS with its smooth scrolling . Nokia's dumb touch phones cant go even near it.
After the release of iphone 4,it can be truly said that its the best phone in the market. and why not?
Its got a 3.5" inch screen with gaming better than psp, gyroscope, 5mp camera, 720p recording and video watching, retinal screen display, excellent resolution, smooth scrolling, multitasking, excellent sound quality headphones and best of all 1 million free apps
At first people cud compare flaws between iphone and nokia but after the release of iphone 4 there is no comparison left. Nokia is in checkmate and the game is over.

because windows is smart enough to move on before it left too far,
but nokia stick with their brilliatn os symbian (on nokia manger mind)...
nokia still sleep away on their never ending comfort zone....
