The design is very very similar to that of nokia n series. I can say the most gorgeous iphone in the planet today. Wow nice to see a video recording up to 720p and a video conference capable iphone in the first history of apple.

i dont get it if the iPhone 4 supports only microSIM, then how their gonna sell the phone in other countries(no microSIM supported operators)

aha! only wifi video calling because its free eh? but tons of expensive crap apps.

hmm..i guess why everyone wants to own an iphone is mostly the social status image or to have the true American spirit. Watch any American movies and observe what phone do they use? the iphone...duh. With apple 'creative' marketing strategies, such as celebrity endorsement, those fans who dream to be like them buys the same thing as they have.
But deep down, there is just so many common things that the iphone missed and one of it is the 'bluetooth file sharing' which have been a problem for me. The joy of sharing favorite music/photos with your closed one is inhibited due to apple's own selfishness. Browse through the iphone whole specs list and be aware the specs list is already available in other phones way before.
But apple is quirky enough in thinking 'cool names' such as the FaceTime (which is the actually video-call function and already been around since 2008) which makes u thought is a new function unconsciously.
i guess ppl are just being charmed by apple's 'sweet-talking' in thinking that getting the iphone is the trend. But, i do believe there are better phone alternatives out there. Is just that apple is down-right smart in their marketing strategy. To all phone companies out there, start practicing it now!
And, if apple do start a 'school of marketing', sign me up! XD

Ok...to all u saps that are complaining about video calling only over wifi, and the fact that video calling is old technology....yes it is, and yes u had to pay an arm and a leg to video call and it never really took off, the reason that the iphone is video calling over wifi only is....BECAUSE ITS FREE!!!!.....YES FREE OF CHARGE,NADA,ZILCH!!! So before u go gunning something please at least get your facts right! And no im not an apple fan boy, im someone who has worked in the mobile industry for more than 10 yrs. Ok so the phone doesnt have the 12megapixel camera, u cannot bluetooth files (hmm jailbreak???) but the phone will sell by the bucketload simply because its an all in one device and it has the appstore to back it up too, if any of you arer old enough to remember the nokia 5146 and the 3210,3310 what the hell did these have that made them sell so many????? Nothing but the game of snakes!!! A phone does not have to have all the high end specs to sell by the buckload, I have had too many phones by EVERY single manufacturer over a period of around 15yrs yes I have an iphone simply because it is an allround device that does everything I need, music, internet, email, navigation and its simple and easy to set up and use, and this is what makes the iphone and blackberry sell so well. Its all about catering for you individual needs

There s one thing which makes iphone 4 really a champ is the scores of applications which apple have made available, hats off to that.No matter what HTC, NOKIA come up with, without supergud applications on their side they'll always be left behind iphone.....

in most ways n8 is better than iphone 4. but n8 itself was nokias respond to the sony ericsson satio which was the first 12 mp smartphone. and that phone was way better than the iphons 3gs. nokia is just modernizing the satio but its still better than the icrap 4. check out this link which is proof that the iphone 4 cant even work the wireless internet right http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/video/2010/jun/08/apple-iphone-4-wwdc

N8 Beats iPhone4 hands down, with all additional features that it has got and also with the looks. As slim and light, with a 12MP Camera, FM Radio, Expandable Memory Slots, etc., iPhone4 cannot stand near to NOKIA N8.
