Iphone 5 is definitely an excellent phone, but the for ones whom like to 'personalize' and have fun with the system of their units it is certainly not preferable. So it's up to which side are you in. And despite the solid built, imho, it's too costly and lack of value.
I have an I phone5 and the battery dies on six hours /standby. I have 3 days to return it. hmmm
Jay, 10 Sep 2013Memory card - perhaps, but removable battery ? Better not. When have I replaced a battery - on... moreremovable battery is not for you to remove it and throw it away, but to temporarily replace it with the spare one once it gets empty and you desperately need a phone (on long trips and places you dont have a charger in every step of the way)
iphone 5 has been discontinued as apple recently launched iphone 5s, iphone 5c.
[deleted post]I don't like constantly seeing people getting all excited about getting an iPhone only to get it and realise it's nowhere near as good as they hoped but end up stuck with it.
And people like you keep trying to say it's perfect and saying everyone who doesn't have an iPhone secretly wants one when of course that is incredibly dumb to say, And since a huge amount of people buying a phone might only bother checking in the iPhone forums they might never know if it's actually right for them and they need to know what's wrong with it and what's right with other phones, And I really don't care if you trying to chase me out because that's your problem for not being willing to listen to any opinion other than your own.
Jay, 10 Sep 2013Memory card - perhaps, but removable battery ? Better not. When have I replaced a battery - on... moreI already recycle my old batteries at my local supermarket so that is a poor excuse to not have removable battery, Because the problem is when your battery runs low you always have to be near a charger and Apple knows the average user won't change their own battery so make more money from people paying them to change them.
AnonD-56991, 09 Sep 2013It's always funny how people like you always defend the iPhone's lack of features just like I ... moreMemory card - perhaps, but removable battery ? Better not. When have I replaced a battery - once in one nokia phone out of the twenty different ones I have used. Removable battery is a not a good idea for the environment. Better for the phone company to handle it responsibly.

My sister want to buy me a new phone but I am confuse between S4mini and Iphone5.Which has better battery life S4mini or Iphone5?thanks in advance.
I have no allegiance to any vendor but here's some stuff for you:
At work and in personal life heres some recent Iphone 5 stats:
2 people at work (their personal phones) 5 swap outs between them - in the last 6 months:
1 person at work (work phone)about to have a swap out (5 days)
Family members new iphone about to be swapped out (6 days).
Devices are about choice and preference for some and fashion statements for others.
Once thing that is clearly obvious, those that made choice can't seem to handle the fact the object of their desire isn't as great as they hoped it would be.
Yingyang, 10 Sep 2013C'mon. Get out of here. You can't do good in this page. You're just a plain apple hater. And a... moreYou really think everyone who doesn't own an apple product only doesn't because they can't afford it? That's very sad, dumb and arrogant of you because it's the massive lack of features and monumental greed of Apple that makes me choose other phones that cost just as much but are MUCH better, And people need to realise that image isn't everything and it's just sad to buy an iPhone because they think it makes them look "Cool"
