I still chop and change between IOS and ANDROID .I get bored and swap between them.Want to go back to Nokia but so much missing in W8..
Cant wait till Firefox and Jolla get devices out just something different..I suppose they will still be miserable boring soulless slabs.

They are built to high precision and tolerance.Steve Jobs attention to detail caused this excessive high tolerance and the equipment to deal with this cost more.
Apples aftercare is unmatched by any other manufacturer and that cost is built into its products.
That's all I can think of rest is pure greed shown by their profits..Imagine the mark up on 32GB and 64GB iphone models when the memory costs pennys,plus,APPLE buy bulk making memory even cheaper.

iphone, 12 May 2013it is android vs ios you cant compare thet but still iphone is more stabile software amound an... moreThe S3 and iPhone 5 cost about the same to make because while iPhone has more expensive materials the S3 has more expensive components so it evens out.
So again why does the iPhone 5 cost 40% more than S3?
And the fact is the aluminium chips and dents so just having more expensive materials doesn't automatically make a better phone because polycarbonate is shock proof, So can handle most abuse you throw at it, and as long as you don't drop the phones the S3 rarely has any kind of malfunctions and just as reliable as iPhone.

Very good tactic of Apple as you will be forced to buy an external battery whenever you want a longer battery life.

Anonymous, 12 May 2013can I update this to jellybean?well you can try, but good luck when you succeed because you will fry it using a sophisticated OS, in bare ten second or less, becausse iphones are made from obsolete technology. its like trying to power their highest model macbook pro with windows 7 and then in barely a minute it overheats and stops LOLOLOLOLOL

iPhone5 is still made the same way like a decade ago: made from cheap aluminum,totally super cheap material. whereas the current smartphones are made from ultra durable super premium synthetic ceramic; iphone5 uses ordinary glass; whereas some are now using indestructible japanese asahi glass. iphone5 still uses the obsolete A5 chip only in dual core. whereas most are using high tech snapdragon chips. iphone5 os is still the obsolte ios a decade ago. Blackberry 10 is the best, followed by android; where as apple os is very far behind, say ten steps backwards. most of all iphones are made in some decrepit cottage industry in bangladesh the subcontractor of foxconn. and then sold one million times profit margin from its actual manufacturing cost of just over thirty dollars US$30. if you come to asia, you will see macbooks and iphones sold in the side street but no takers even sold at dirt cheap buy one take one because it sucks
