im proud iphone 4S user and im waiting for my next iphone. former iphone 3gs user too. iOS and apple ftw!!!
App developers need paying for their work and hours they put in ,,Android cripples you with adverts to pay for free apps Apple dont..These app folk spend hours developing and should be paid..Folk expect stuff for free these days but it is not...Everytime you buy an Android device you are buying an advertising portal to which Google can stuff you to death with adverts.
This Sony Xperia SX phone was only released exclusively in Japan, such a great compact phone, but I guess it wasn't released worldwide. If somehow became a hit, sure as well Apple would sue Sony for SX's design. :))
if you want to have a hassle free phone, much more better to be with samsung or android phones. iphone's are anti piracy. and they secured every gadgets w/ itunes. w/c is for their business. most apps needs to be paid before you can download them w/c is unfair, because iphone is already expensive so why should their apps have some pricess as well. make no sense. they love money!
MNW, 31 Mar 2013What the hell do you mean by androids octa?
They are made by qualcomm, samsung, nvidia, intel ,... moreFalse . Try asking samsung to build a phone with a processor running at 600 mhz and with only 256 mb of ram and see how does it run , I'm pretty sure it won't be usable at all.On the other hand Iphone 3gs with all the spec stated runs great .
You see now ?dual core iphone 5 with triple core graphic might actually work as well as octa core samsung galaxy S4
Will an unlocked iPhone 5 work on GSM or CDMA based on the SIM card that has been inserted in it?
Samsung make the Audio chip too,Sharp the screen and so on..Apple re-engineered that A6 chip with 1000 engineers they reckon to do what it does and with superb battery efficiency..
Apple only have to make one version of the App as such because they only have one device to make it for except screen size differences. Most apps are developed for IOS first because its easy to do with only one device but there is another reason and also why games go to IOS first but cant remember why..
DJ-Wolf, 30 Mar 2013Just switched across from Samsung S3 and so much better experience. With both Apple/Samsung/Bl... moreDid you get white or black one? I had black and except for initial hiccup had no problems with it.I haven't seen white one yet thats supposed to be more less scratchy with the colour scheme.Want to try one but its getting near new version..
I know much wont change with new iphone but they need to up their game as in surprise us with something out of the box.If they have fitted this new superslim Xenon flash unit in and proper half shutter button that would shut up Nokia and Samsung.I would like to see LED notification light, some hate LED flashing away but it will be able to be disabled.I would like to see the back button put at bottom of screen its awkward at top and a stretch to reach...
This would put a dent in profits but would love to see card slot,,they charge so much to double memory its unfair i would love/need 64GB version..I hope they are not going to go to Pico sim ,i know their is no such thing but you know Apple and their shrinking sims.
Water resistant would be great as cant use fone if its raining due to touchscreen and scared of ruining it with water and tainting litmus paper,,this renders the phone unable to be sold on.
Come on Apple blow us away,(cough) bluetooth, card slot and file system..
Sarkooss, 29 Mar 2013The best mobile ever! I bought it an white iphone 5 i recommand everyone should buy an iphone.... moreWhat the hell do you mean by androids octa?
They are made by qualcomm, samsung, nvidia, intel ,broadcom or OMAP.......And you are calling apples dual faster than samsungs octa?......Do you even know who makes apples iphone processor? ITS SAMSUNG!!! they just rename the brand...

Bought an iPhone 5 32GB Black last week and it's cool! I cannot deny that Android is a very advance operating system but are all the devices optimized?
Don't be blinded by those quad-cores, octo-cores or anything because not all apps are capable of using all those cores. Some apps are just designed for dual-cores just like the iPhone 5.
Talking about apps, not all apps are suitable for a specific Android device because of all the varieties of Android devices in the market but in iPhone 5, all apps in the app store are all compatible though some of the apps are still in 640x960 but wait for few weeks they will already be 640x1136.
Android OS is a very nice OS indeed, in fact, I own an Android device.
Android is for those who are excited for full customization but iOS is for those who are just too lazy to customize. Android is advance and customer-tractable but how about bugs? Yes, you can get updates for your Android device but most of the time, they are getting released months after and still carrying bugs! And if you're going to buy an Android device, wait for 2-3 years and it's already stagnant compared to iPhones that can last up to 3-4 years.
If I have to decide between Operating Systems, I will choose both, because I am that kind of consumer who loves both! Sometimes I need Android and sometimes I need iOS.
If you think you need a fully-customizable OS that can allow you to download songs, videos, movies and 3rd party apps easily, GO FOR ANDROID!
If you think you need something simple that has less bugs and just sticks to the hand and you know for sure that you are financially capable in buying original songs and applications, go for iOS!
If you think you are financially upright, better buy both!
Just switched across from Samsung S3 and so much better experience. With both Apple/Samsung/Blackberry it really is just a case of the users preferences. I prefer the ease of use of the iOS operating system. I've had no problems as yet with the "paint" on the phone coming off or scratching, battery life seems to be fine-with regular usage of apps and games etc i do have to charge once a day but its a smartphone, its what its there for!
Truly brilliant experience overall-cannot find fault with it (yet!).
Same hardware? But is it the same user experience? I highly doubt it.
AnonD-127775, 30 Mar 2013ok... thanks a lot. :D
i think i'l give the iphone 4 a second thought b4 buying.
what about ... moreHave had no experience with ipods at all,sorry..I see both Samsung and Apple get top marks in audio quality but thats because Samsung make Apples audio chips. Samsung now use Wolfson chips and sgs2 had poor Yamaha chip but hopefully SAmsung will use Wolfson in S4 with EXYNOS,,however Snapdragon S4 may use its own DAC'S.
My interest is dynamic range which is the quietest of sounds to loudest crash of cymbols. ,,the bigger dynamic range the able to handle these extremes of music.
AnonD-129806, 30 Mar 2013As long as you keep away from that little spot ,all ok..If i put my finger across that gap the... moreok... thanks a lot. :D
i think i'l give the iphone 4 a second thought b4 buying.
what about the ipod touch 5th gen...... i heard thats good too.
i just want an apple product for listening to music as the sound quality is really amazing !! :-O
AnonD-107005, 30 Mar 2013the most crapy phone i ever bought, batery lasts 5 hours with heavy use, bad paint job, 4s the... moreThe s2 doesn't beat this. The iPhone 5 has faster RAM, way, way better GPU and a similarly clocked CPU. (You won't be able to stress the CPU in applications for at least 2 years) My iPhone 3GS is still going ok-ish.
