Great phone for what it was, no contest vs iphone. My wife had the iphone 4, and she reckons there isn't much difference, but then it's what you do with the phone that matters. Even if I had a 4s, i would still have taken the 5, purely because my contract allows me to get a new one for "free". I am a speed freak, so having a phone that can keep up with everything you can throw at it, is first prize. The performance is spectacular compared to any android or windows phone out there, except of course the new razr running on intel core.
I have the iphone 5, and I can say that is no upgrade from the 4s, and I had the 4S! I dont see an significant improvement over the 4s, as the 4s was snappier anyway, I dont like the 5, because it puts all my applications in 4's box style, the only thing which works is the video, aesthetically this has very minor improvement over the 4S, and the 4S is 80% of Iphone 5, Games are not optimized for Iphone 5, and you may get the letter box effect, only a handful of games support iphone's 4 inch resolution, 85% doesnt, might as well wait till the next Iphone if you want to upgrade! I am planning to return it back to the store, which i paid $650
Firstly, I always research phones extensively before upgrading. I am not knocking Samsung or HTC or Motorola for their hardware, but Android is crap. I have 4 friends with Galaxy S3's and it doesn't take long for the phone to become slower and less responsive. Scrolling through a picture library feels like something is holding it back.I have the Iphone 5 16GB. No matter how many apps are open in the background, everything simply works instantly. No lagging whatsoever. It just works. No need to reboot every couple of days like Android. Apple is more stable and more efficient than any Android i've seen up to date. Like I said, nothing wrong with the hardware....Android is the problem. Unfortunately the general public seems to like the extra "fancyness" of Android, but the simple, sleek operation, look and feel of IOS is so much more efficient. So much so, that the Iphone 5, with slower CPU seems to outperform the Androids my far. Bigger isn't always better. If you want a big screen, get a tablet. If you want a trouble free smartphone experience, get an Iphone.

apple will release a larger phone. I recently found another link that said they will release a phone with a 4.8 inch screen. This article said, a 4.5 inch screen. We'll see.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2013Iphone 5 is a floop, same everything, apple shares drop 16%. Why becuz sales not as expected. ... moreIts actually quite a good improvement from 4s..
1. Screen increase without losing 1h usability
2. LTE for once...
3. Twice ram then 4s
4. better cpu
Only down side is why release 16gb versions.. not enough.. might wait for 5s to get 128 gb..

Why becuz sales not as expected. ... moreLol the Android 'denial force field' is Google's latest invention, truly clouds it's robot's minds. That's the irony, the users don't realise that they are actually the Androids lol.
One of the best selling phones in the world is now called a flop, or 'floop' by this intelligent guy hahaha. Amazing job Google, I look forward to buying your book Hypnosis for dummies, or more accurately, Hypnotizing dummies for dummies.

I've never used a smart phone before. I tested .
IOS
Android
Windows
and the IOS works best for me. It's easy and simple. Sure a bigger screen will be nice. But simplicity is what i am looking for.
Iphone 5 is a floop, same everything, apple shares drop 16%. Why becuz sales not as expected. It has to be an eye opener to all. Everyday is not Sunday! look at Nokia, BB, repenting. Should announce iphone 6. Or slash prices to halves. Guys comments please.
I hope next iOS would support more video formats not just MP4 like now.
Hi,
I'm using iPhone5 (32GB,white) since a week now, earlier was using iPhone 4s. After reading all reviews, wud say I find battery back-up is same as I use to get from 4s with my 56apps. 1-2 times a day I've to charge this device.
About scratches, yes iPhone 5 seems to be prone to scratches if not handled properly, just like 4s' glass front & rear panels can get cracked if not handled with care.
So I dont find any more risk in using iPhone5 if compared to its earlier versions. Still ip5 gives u very nice feeling than 4s, as it is very lite, sleek & fast. Its best smartfone in market as of now.
iPhone always needs care, infact all smartfones needs care & brain to run it hassle free with better battery back-up. Thanx for reading.

Inder, 14 Jan 2013Is it only me or a general feeling that iPhone5 battery drains really fast. Just bought ip5 32... moreI have used 4 and 4S, now using the iPhone 5. I agree that the iPhone 5 is using battery quicker. Sometimes I'd get about 6 hours battery life before it hits 20%. This is the only issue I have with the phone....and I overcome this by carrying a juicepack, if I know that I need it. Most of my time is in the office so the phone is constantly plugged in.
