Anonymous, 04 Jan 2013My experience exactly same! One question...whatsupp, it's not downloaded at my phone...is it d... moreEach app that has push notification installed on an android phone will increase its battery drain.. Depending on the developer's design..
However for iphone.. U can install as many app u want and the battery drain remains constant, this is because they all use apple's designed push services. Unless the app use VoIP, or constant gps background.

I recently sold my Note 2 and purchased iPhone 5. I hope this explain you which one is better. Both the Os's have apps, games etc but the THING Android sucks at is battery.
I sold my 4S and upgrade to Note II considering that massive 3100mah battery will last a day for a traveler like me, but it was completely opposite.
I have tried custom roms, stock deodexed roms, custom kernels, removed all bloatwares from Samsung douchwiz, but still it didn't last a day for me. Average screen time was 5-6 hours on Note II which would be the best if you compare it with SGS2, SGS3 and HOX.
Compare the same with iPhone 5, right now my battery is 56% with screen time of 5hours 43mins, 15 hours standby. It gonna last more than a day.
Same apps, same social bunch of apps like facebook, whatsapp, twitter, instagram which I installed in Note II.
Now, decide yourself. Either enjoy massive screen, huge custom roms, customizations, custom kernels, tons of launchers and suck battery life for 10-15 hours.
OR enjoy closed OS, no customization, no different launchers, no jailbreak (iPhone 5/iOS6), amazing battery life of 1-2 DAYS.
Make your choice!
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2013Yes, IOS is easy on developers because it's the simplest UI ever. And it's designed for only... moreNoways... IOS maybe simpler to the user not the developers, from that point of view android is simpler with corejava base...
Plus i think you are forgetting that name of different brands does not affect coding if it is done on similar processors...so there is nothing so great about android doing it...
It is not at alll butttery smooth...
Anonymous, 04 Jan 2013Can we install Android on this or it damages the phone? Not at all. Don't know how! Lol. Why would u think of that? Iphone got it's own os and so is android unique to other phones...no...not at all!!
