And for the real stuff u use galaxy tab...I use ipad for the real stuff. 99% of people use the phone for the basic stuff. Although I disagree on a lot of features you mentioned, one can sit down in a discuss it. Smart call for instance...nice to have it. My OLD n8 do it as well. But if you go in iphone pressing home button once, u can get all info on starting the search. The moment u use it and get used to it, its just as easy as smart call. Other stuff like flash is cause of apple's origin. And maps...I agree that maps is a disaster. But Google maps is back for free, and so itunes. Tab is for what we are doing now. Phone, even GS3, is too small to enjoy like enjoying ipad or note 10,1. In the end, it's personal and what's working for u...

1. all that storage just for itunes
2. no smart dialing
3. favorites on a list :-p
4. bluetooth just for accessories...
5. no widgets (very helpful, you know...)
6. a downgraded version of Android Notifications
7. a very simple contact management platform but really not helpful. F.E. in Android just in the contact list you have all info about that contact (if he/she is online, where, how can I contact ecc.)
8. a downgraded version of Andoid task manager
9. no Flash
10. no Maps
Just some features...
But, I have an Iphone 4s (my brother has an Iphone 5), and I love it, as a very nice piece of hardware for a basic use every day.
For the real stuff I use Galaxy Tab II 10.1

When iphone is locked, you can feel relaxed. I put the word switched off in previous comment, but it should read locked....in standby mode...

My son use the GS3 and the problem was not the battery....his data account was in the red, and he then realised that apps are running in the background! Iphone is just a pleasure as to when switched off, you can feel relaxed as everything is switched off...

Use top phones of 2012. iphone 5, s3
iPhone is standby friendly, anything can be shutdown or put on standby very quickly without affecting battery and you have no nagging feeling you forgot to do something on your phone.
S3 comes with alot of features and full-multitasking, allow you to tweak your device to your liking, but the additional features and full multi-tasking comes with a price, when you put your phone on standby, it might not be fully sleeping and might waste battery if you do not want it. It requires more attention on the device.
Both good phones nevertheless..

Then, if u are a ... morenop most people still choose to buy iphones. nice app nice OS promising quality, except the native map but Google map is available so cheers. you can name thounsands of features that not included in iPhone but in Android but I tell you what no people is blaming on those featues that you would like to mention.

AnonD-92879, 25 Dec 2012can i play 1080p videos in i5. ? How much time wil take to transfer 1 gb video through itunes ... moreI have installed AV player and it plays my 1080p mkv files flawlessly. Transferring takes only a few mins
