Huge news coming out of Asia.
Apple considering budget phones to combat other cheap ones.

Thats for one defective phone. ON top of that, that defective phone might not have that problem, the problems might vary, so out of all the defective phones out there, only a few have a battery problem.
Anonymous, 07 Dec 2012Wow amazing how Samsung gets away with things, but not surprising given how they own and bully... morepeople will support them as long as they compete with apple. Even though it's actually not even close in terms of overall profits, it really isn't.
Samsung is worth maybe 100 billion dollars... Apple is worth 5 times that. "the most valuable company in the world"

You came with the 1 in 10000 number out of thin air, then suddenly made a calculation based on that lol. 240000 people with defective phones is a huge number and would make headlines. Without having to do rocket science, one can therefore infer that your initial assumption is probably faulty.
Defect rates are probably very very low, but agreed the phone should be replaced.

I think 1 in 10000 people will get your issue. You probably got one with a weak battery. I;ve heard this before, very rare, but 1 in 10000 is still 240 000 people will get this issue, if you sell 24 million units.
Wow amazing how Samsung gets away with things, but not surprising given how they own and bully media. King of Samsung: a chairman's reign of cunning and corruption.
karl, 07 Dec 2012how about the scuff gate? does the newer stocks dont have this issue? thnx for the replyYup solved. Earlier scuffs were due to rush in initial manufacturing. Sorted now.
Massive launch in Korea. SK gets 50k orders in just 2 hours. KT racks up 250k orders

It reminds me of the difference of Android and IOS users.hahaha
[deleted post]most games and apps dont run of sd cards. I have 2 friends that works in apps developement. Don't believe me? Get a 512 mb android phone.
get a 64gb micro sd card.
Lemme know how it goes.
[deleted post]just like how you guys hate them for whatever they do? It's almost the same logic, the difference is right now, you are trolling. I am not. You will probably slam the iphone5 for something else if it did have a sd card slot. Way ta go compare the iphone 5 to a media player also dude. I think you need to read, as I already said, apple focused around the areas of the phone itself, making phone calls, checking emails, fast browsing, (siri is just unbelievable awesome sometimes). Using the internet. They have the best facebook app. Want a sd card slot? Email apple yourself. Not that you care anwyays, your complaining about an apple flaw for the sake of slamming the product. We don't except everything apple makes, but the reason is understandable.
No micro sd card? Buy the f in s3 then. We don't care!
my iphone5's battery really sucks, with LTE on, the battery drops roughly 15-18% with a few data based msgs and light usasge of web surfing in 1 hour, the battery drop 12% with the same usage under 3G. even just 3G standby with almost no usage wont last a full day, what happened? anyone has this problem, i did have my phone changed, but the problem remains.

Unless you actually take 10000 hd photos, without backing em up, a 64gb will suffice for someone that needs that space. If you are really taking 10000 photos.
I suggest you go buy a f in camera instead of actually using a smart phone.
if you need it then get the S3. No one is here to stop you. You wouldn't want me to go into the s3 forum and complain about how bad jelly bean is right? How the phone is built like crap, right? It's trolling.
multitasking = battery kill. But really, if you want, get the S3. apple users don't give a crap like you apple haters.
