Wow! Ericsson sues Samsung for patent infringement:
And wow! Troll comments all pwned by GSMArena lol.
Anonymous, 27 Nov 2012Any opinions about the maps problem for iphone 5?Download Nokia Here to use the maps even in offline mode.Or wait for Google Maps app.
Woot iPhone and iPad are steamrolling the competition. Wow!
"Apple's tablet "generated more traffic than any other tablet or smartphone, reaching nearly 10 percent of online shopping," according to IBM's report. The next device in line was the iPhone, with 8.7% of shopping traffic, then ALL ANDROD DEVICES COMBINED with 5.5% of traffic. The iPad's 10% slice of mobile retail translates to a whopping 88.3% of tablet shopping traffic, with the Nook, Kindle and Samsung Galaxy tablets all eking out shares of 3% or less."
[deleted post]It means that the company remains healthy, despite all the "Apple is dying" propaganda Android trolls keep repeating like a mantra. It also means I will still see an iPhone in 2017.
Android manufacturers are already considering Plan B, WP8 as none are making great profits except for Samsung. HTC and Motorola for example, have both stopped selling phones in Korea due to poor financial results.
Lastly, greater profits means they can continue spending on R&D and produced rear products with great material and build technology. Unlike Samsung, they don't copycat to save on R&D costs.
iPhone 5 is top on the holiday list. Looks like incredible sales report coming soon. Android manufacturers will continue to scratch their heads, maybe will move to WP8 instead.
[deleted post]Lol this is the secret wish of Android fanboys, yet any increase in speed, performance on their platform and it's the most incredible thing
Christine , 27 Nov 2012Android phones are not as smooth as ios when it comes to web browsing and video playback on yo... moreAndroid always lag. I use GS3 right now, and I tell you that. Not laggy and terrible like it once was, but it still has some lag but it's RARE and I believe everyone that ever work with Android agree with me that Android always has some lag in daily use. But it offers a lot more features and personalization than iOs and other OS
edwinwright3, 26 Nov 2012The Droid DNA has nothing but a sharper screen. Unless someone's a biologist of sorts who look... moreOh really? Than what about that quad core S4 Pro with a much faster CPU and slightly faster GPU and all Android features? It's not as smooth as iP5 in daily operation, but the hardware itself is enough to make it the best phone out there. And the screen is not only sharper, but the quality is there too
Android phones are not as smooth as ios when it comes to web browsing and video playback on youtube. I bet you guys!!
how come one of the best selling phone got so many negative vote?
there is so many iphone hatter in internet
iSJ5, 25 Nov 2012I feel boring wit this OS now, nothing new again. Boringyou can use other nicks! nice try!!!
It's important to note that the iPhone group has relatively same usage habits in that most utilize their phones quite well. Android however have two distinct groups. First group is similar to iPhone in that they utilize their phones well, but there is also a second large group who only use it like normal dumbphones.
Research now shows how large this group is:
Anonymous, 27 Nov 2012Funny how when we watch futuristic science fiction movies, the technology is always invisible,... moreWe've been trying to tell these fandroids that. But they wont listen. It's hilarious.
Funny how when we watch futuristic science fiction movies, the technology is always invisible, and just works. No one pays attention to tech specs, they just USE the tech.
Sound familiar? Which philosophy is more aligned with this, iOS or Android?
Now we know who has a clear vision of the future.
[deleted post]You are one of the few Erica Sadun mentioned who are "completely missing the point".
Apple's philosophy is that design and user experience are what counts, and tech specs merely SUPPORT the design. Androfreaks merely get hard looking at a list of specs, without even seeing if it does what they want well haha. Sad.
[deleted post]fail! Another fandroid making false claims!
Last time, another fandroid said, the ip5 cannot do networking sharing! It can!
Android does not support your phone to update to any new os beyond 1 year!. As for IOS is 3 years! Yes 3 years! Also Android is not allowing any 512mb phone to be updated to the latest glitched jelly bean 4.2! Why? I have no clue.
SD card is useless as most developers do not develop apps to run off of the sd card. It's good to store photos, videos, and if possible, store some apps, but it wont run.
The other beast phone, Nokia Lumia 920, no sd card. HTC DNA, no sd card, Nexus 4, no Sd card expansion. It's useless.
Stop hating. Why is GSM arena allowing you to this?
