AnonD-79068, 21 Nov 2012Okay so I came here to see if anyone had any problems or opinions on the IPhone 5. But no, it’... morewhat you said is perfectly fine.
Their are actual user oppinons on this page, but a lot of frandroids have forced apple users to defend themselves non stop. 95% of the reviews here have been positive. Any negative reviews, is most likely a android user pretending to have owned the ip5 then slam it to death. This is also an unreliable place to look at phone reviews, because gsm arena is officially swamrmed with fandroids, all out attacks on all of their apple products, Lumina 920 page, and any pro android article. It's unreal. But overall , I have no complaints about the iphone 5. To be honest, theres' more s3 complaints.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2012S3 was launch ahead of iPhone 5 and yet still maintains to be on the top slot until now.
iPho... moreVery weak.
I have explained before. GSMArena isn't a top destination in general for iPhone, but is a top destination for Samsung phone users.
iPhone users will go to Macrumors, iLounge, AppleInsider. Mactrast, Toucharcade (gaming), MMI, etc before they even reach GSMArena. Samsung on the other hand, has plenty of fans here.
I have also noted that, iPhone usually should be out of Top 10 by now, yet iPhone 5 is still here, meaning that even on GSMArena it's popularity is climbing.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2012The reason is because they are not interested anymore with Apple.Good.
So far very happy with the speed, connectivity, design and everything about this phone.
Best device so far,and i tried every one out there
its very nice recently in all phones
Okay so I came here to see if anyone had any problems or opinions on the IPhone 5. But no, it’s full of Apple to Android war. So I could be professorial and just leave it at that but I’d rather join in... Okay so going to start with that hands down no one can argue that the IPhone and Samsung Galaxy series are the best phones on the market. And either way they are both great choices. I will admit that the IPhone is missing features that could have easily added, most of the apple junkies will deny it but guess what it’s the truth. Samsung with android can do just about anything you'd want in a smartphone. I personally love android, I am very techy, love the freedom and have wanted a S3 since prerelease rumors. But I’m as of now planning on getting the IPhone for one reason, the fact that it just works. Apple has really nailed that hardware software fluidity. Android DOES (don’t lie to yourself) have slightly less reliability rate, it glitches, lags, etc. It is defiantly not as bad past versions of android but I have had enough fiddling to get things to work, flashing, re-installing, and 6 week warranty repair trips. I at this point just want easy use, simplicity, reliability, and portability (There's an app for that...) and that is what the IPhone has been good at for years.
I actually don't understand what these anonymous guys are debating about

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2012I already mentioned this a while back. GSMArena isn't where most people get info on iPhone, so... moreS3 was launch ahead of iPhone 5 and yet still maintains to be on the top slot until now.
iPhone 5 took the first slot only for a while during its launch then rapidly goes down the rank.
Now it stays on the 6th to 7th place.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2012Very poor Analogy because if you buy a Ferrari most people only use it the occasional weekend ... moreJust in case, the answer from real Ferrari owners:
http://www.ferrarilife.com/forums/ferrari-discussion/11308-how-reliable-ferrari-everyday.html
"Here we go again. I am guessing you didn't speak to any actual Ferrari owners? It's amazing how people just love to perpetuate this myth, particularly if they have had no experience in that area myself. My take on it: for small volume cars, Ferraris are reliable."
Lesson: Don't stereotype. Do your homework. Lastly, enjoy your tech, and let others enjoy theirs.
Another trend I noticed also is that Android fanboys used to come in swarms, but now they have dwindled to a handful, one here, one ther. Nowhere near the numbers like before, as they have shifted over to iOS and WP8 probably.
In the beginning, people supported Android fans, as most were indifferent to Apple anyway.
Thankfully, with WP8 entering the scene, they have seen how obnoxious Android fanboys truly are. Every article here on GSMArena, which is iOS or WP8 will have some Android punk stirring up problems.
They try hard to pretend to be WP8 or iOS fans but it usually doesn't stick. Only a matter of time now, people are fedup with you guys.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2012Very poor Analogy because if you buy a Ferrari most people only use it the occasional weekend ... moreNot saying iPhone was the Ferrari etc. just showing how people choose different things for different reasons.
Also, again with your narrow mindedness, and stereotyping Ferrari users lol. So they ALL use Ferraris the same way? Hahaha thanks for proving your ignorance.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2012So if someone buys a Ferrari you call him crazy because it doesn't include a baby chair? So a ... moreVery poor Analogy because if you buy a Ferrari most people only use it the occasional weekend on sunny days and they have other cars that fit their daily needs, so yeah if you want to compare to Ferrari which is fast on a perfectly smooth road and is only really good when you get it on a track then yeah it's just like the iPhone.
So congratulations for giving the perfect honest analogy to describe it.
People are not defined by simply their mobile phone. A normal person has a mobile phone, a computer, a car, a motorcycle, a bicycle, clothes, favorite books, food, shoes.
Just because people use the same phone, they are nowhere near the same, as everyone is different.
Android fanboys, free your minds, chillax and enjoy your tech.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2012You know if people buy an Apple product and say yeah I like the iPhone but I'm fully aware tha... moreMost Android commenters here are trolls, but I believe this guy 39x% genuinely believes his stuff. He is unfortunately misguided in that he believes that his view represents everybody's view.
This is a common condition, mainly amongst teenagers, but usually they grow out of it with social interaction. Unfortunately the Internet has led to many living secluded lives with minimal interaction, and gave rise to a "me! Me! Me" syndrome as displayed by many Android fanboys who are now adults.
