Getting Android to run smooth and fast on hundreds of different devices that all have Multitasking, Widgets and any kind of customization is a serious challenge yet you got phones like the S3 running Jellybean that's almost as smooth and fast as iPhone 5 even though Samsung had nothing to do with creating Android.
But IOS is easy to make run smooth because it's just so basic, so I really applaud Google for making Android so complicated but still almost as fast as IOS that's hardly changed since 2006.
And any iPhone owner with even half a brain should see the achievement Android is.
Anonymous, 02 Nov 2012simply amazing, apple has done it again! Very well said!!!

Whereas Android has to be customized yet for every brand which is what they call skin and still has to be adopted to every phone model. So Android is a more complex and more sophisticated platform. But despite the vast brands and models it being integrated to, it is still fast and has less apps crashing compared to IOS.
Apple stocks going down, down, down.... Market indication that it is near the end of its time. In just about 2 months, its down from over $700 each share to $576. Pathetic Apple stock holders.
from the looks of it...this time the competitor will catch up with iphone 5 sooner ..at least by early or middle of next year..the improvement is not as wide as last time- ipad / android phone user

Why don't you people understand that it's Apple & The Rest ? It's not by specifications, but its build quality, hand feeling & design... Even if i'm an iFan, i admit that there are other smartphones way better than iPhone... Adroid, even if its buggy, it's more customizable & good looking BUT iOS it's more stable & fast as an operating sistem... iPhone it's for another class of users by my opinion, and not for those who want 100X processors, 512XX RAM, 10000 rezolutions displays, etc, WICH I dont know if you even use, and notice any differences other than some +ms in speed. Has no sense to talk about display clarity because there are very small differences at a NORMAL eye looking...
heailoo, 02 Nov 2012Okay, i just don't know what was apple thinking when they released phone with quite poor specs... moreI don't know whether you've noticed but the iPhone does not need a 1080p screen as 326 ppi is already borderline overkill, 1080p on anything less than a tablet is simply a waste of battery life. In regard to quad core processors, the iPhone 5 does not need them, it is plenty fast enough on its dual core in operating system tasks, apps and games, quad core again, would be a waste of battery, the iPhone 5 runs everything it does flawlessly and smoothly anyway. Both these things are a waste of battery life and are only wanted so people can boast about having them, do your research before making outrageous claims like this!
babu, 03 Nov 2012hi frdz,,,
Any one suggest me ...i gonna bye mobile ..i choose i phone 5 ..all my frdz r te... moreFor starters can you please type in English as opposed to some strange derivative of text speech as I found it rather difficult to understand your post.
The iPhone 5 is a very fast phone but with a very basic operating system and a very clean and refined eco system. If you simply want your phone to work, never have any problems and be simple to use and understand then the iPhone is for you. I'm not saying it is perfect as I'm sure as you delve into its many features you will uncover problems but it will be very near flawless.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on the other hand is still incredibly fast, both of these phones are so fast I'm not sure there is any perceivable speed difference, although on paper the Note 2 blows the iPhone out of the water. So in terms of general usage speed these devices will be near enough the same.
The Note 2's screen is 5.5 inches diagonal compared to the iPhone 5's 4 inches. The resolution of these screens are vastly different as well. The Note 2 is a 720p display which means films and games can be made at a standard resolution and not be distorted, the pixel density is 267 ppi, which doesn't sound particularly impressive compared to the 300 + of some other flagships, but, unless you are straining to find pixelation then the screen will be very impressive, colours look very nice as well. The iPhone 5's screen is 1136 by 640 which is a very irregular resolution but, games and films alike don't look distorted so don't let this put you off. The colour reproduction is very good on this although I'd say the Note 2 is lightly more saturated, the iPhone 5's pixel density is 326 ppi which is incredibly good and near enough impossible to find any pixelation.
The battery life on the Note 2 is fantastic but the iPhone 5 is none to shabby either, equalling if not slightly bettering the iPhone 4S.
The Note 2 runs android 4.1 jellybean which is very slick and fast but still doesn't quite cut it in terms of smoothness compared to iOS 6 that the iPhone 5 runs. If you are into customisation then the Note 2 is a sure fire winner as widgets, skins and the like can be used to customise its cosmetic and practical features. The iPhone is very non customisable only being able to move the apps around on the home screens and change the wallpaper.
I hope you found this helpful, if you want any further advice either go to a phone shop and have a go on both of the devices or look at reviews of them on YouTube.
Using of iphone is like going to behind the technology, no bluetooth sharing, no file explorer no sd card, cannot download n save songs or any other not supporting file. its just a brand name and the price, but the mobile and operating system both not worth the price.
