To the people who wants to read opinions about iphone 5 performance.
Its my 5th day now using it. And now I encounter the issue of auto brightness gone wild. For some reasons when the lighting condition of my enviroment change the brightness adjust to full and sometime total darkness on my screen. This issue is to be believe a problem with ios 6. Im really dissapointed but still I am hoping apple could release an update to fix this matter. And still I dont want to give up my iphone 5 coz its a really goodlooking phone.
The bext is the auto-turn of of the screen dont work. I have my iphone 5 and an iphone 4 side by side and its the same. The screen wont turn off or dim by it self that u need to press the power botton for the screen to turn off.
And during my use og my iphone 4 running on ios 5 this doesnt happen. Im guessing most of the iphone issues right now is because of the ios 6. And im really hoping for that the new update will be out soon.
But all in all iphone 5 still a good phone. And easy to use that im contented with its simplicity.
So if your planning to buy and iphone be ready for this promblems issue. And im sure apple will soon fix this bug just like the iphone 4. So there you go guys i hope this help you in thinking if you wanna buy the iphone 5

New York, 22 Oct 2012lots of ann tray fanboys got no life so have to stick their nose to others business. bored? ho... moreJust remember that Android phones can access absolutely any site on the Web including those using Flash so it's a lot easier to stick our noses in other people's business when we can actually enjoy using the web on Android phones without huge restrictions, while iPhone users have to get their Pc/Mac if they want anything even close to proper internet.
its true that iphone was the god of phones before but after the samsung galaxy s2 came out the iphone popularity gradually decreases, samsung makes better specs and bigger screen new features plus support with android, many phone manufactures follow thei path it seems android phones standard features are quadcore, 2g ram, 2100+mah bat, 13mp cam, 5 inch disp. android jellybean 4.1.. android phones are non stopable continuing to denomination of the mobile world. the closest device next to pc is android phone.
lots of ann tray fanboys got no life so have to stick their nose to others business. bored? how about go play with your cheap plastics???
The big problem in iPhone5 is that with the screen size a bit bigger than the previous ones.....we are not getting some applications like games and many other social applications does not FIT to the screen size, i mean like the application being used in a an iphone4s and iphone5 will have the same amount of screen, REST AREA IN IPHONE5 REMAINS JUST BLACK SPOT SCREEN.....i think APPLE should make a note of that.....if we can use the extra display area of the screen for the applications then whats the use of the buying a more upgraded version than the previous one....REALLY NOT HAPPY WITH THAT...!! :(
wow. .a lot of android fanbois here. . .way too insecure. . haha. .im a wp fan. . haha. .check it out, N Lumia 920, its already available in pre-order in Best Buy.
[deleted post]Funny how you've been a major Samsung Galaxy supporter ever since Galaxy S, and yet here you're MAGICALLY an embarrassed iPhone owners.
And funny how its iPhone users here embarrassing Android fans by using Google better.
Hint: our comments have our IP addresses stuck to them, so a simple Google search an expose your other comments on GSMArena Bob hahaah.
Android fanboys will forever be the most deluded group on the Internet. Proof?
While they are busy fighting for their Google overlords all over the Internet, Google employees are simply fans of tech, the majority of which who use MacBooks and other Apple products.
If Google hated Apple so much they would simply not allow this to happen. Yet here the Android fanboys are, fighting a war for Google while Google employees themselves enjoy Apple products lol. Don't be caged boys, set your mind free.
[deleted post]Lol just looked at your survey. These people wouldn't happen to be YOUR family would it? Lol.
Fits perfectly, your grandparents, your parents, your sister, leaving you the angry little boy who wants to be different with no one listening.
1. Your elders are more wise than you.
2. You are disrespectful to say bad things about them here, just showing how Android fanboys truly are.
[deleted post]I think phones have almost become like shoes now where some people judge you by what you wearing, and I really think the image the iPhone gives off now is someone who's not very imaginative and like you say "Technically inept"
And if Apple has almost lost that designer brand image and offering almost no innovation now then Apple really doesn't have much left except for people being stuck with possibly thousands of Dollars invested in iTunes and App Store and lose everything if they change brand.
DGT, 22 Oct 2012people use 85% android phones and 60% iphones in the usa. And what percentage of that 145% flunked out of mathematics?
Anonymous, 22 Oct 2012after playing around with my sisters iphone 5 for 1 week now, i am still trying to figure out ... moreI agree with you. My first smartphone was the iPhone 3GS.. after than I got an iPhone 4. At that time, I thought this was the absolute beast and nothing could ever top it. Well I was wrong. Apple has been left behind and other manufacturers like Samsung have passed them by.
after playing around with my sisters iphone 5 for 1 week now, i am still trying to figure out why people would line up and camp outside of phone stores just for this phone. I agree it has 1 of the best displays and good build quality (maybe), but thats all to it. Its like holding my old iphone 4 again... not much has changed... very disappointed as i used to love my iphone 4 but every year its just been the same for apple.
