5 months from now, people will stop arguing bout ip5 but start to predict ip6... easy.. iphone rules.. i believe there would be a huge different coz ip5 got too many negative rumors..
Overpriced and best option for those who dont have knowledge on phone and just worships I phone for its name.
What's not to like about iphone 5? Smartphone has become part of me - might as well just integrate it onto my palm - and using it is not like a beauty contest between phones. Personally it'd be tiring if every iteration was revolutionary. Turn-by-turn navigation was long overdue - I love it - and the map will catch up with Google sooner than iphone haters will realise. Google map is still accessible on Safari anyway and the app offered to iphone users like myself was never good to start with. I prefer longer screens (over my 3GS) for two reasons that are important to me: (1) I see more usable list items and the (2) HD videos looks right and no longer has the annoying stretch option. You like big TV-sized screen you'll enjoy S3/HTC. The iphone 5 camera edges seems more distorted than I'd have liked and I hate the bottom position of the headphone socket. My current usage of constant messaging and news reading lasts me 2 full days. Someone mentioned that turning LTE on (where it's unavailable) will drain battery unnecessarily so I'm testing with it OFF.
As expected, a couple of weeks of frenzy by the haters, and now things have settled down. Slate magazine writer even apologised and wrote a whole new article saying he was wrong, and the iPhone 5 is the greatest smartphone ever built. Wow can you imagine someone actually doing that?
Scratch stories have gone since it was probably just an initial batch, and maps not only is it not a disaster, but now people are praising its advanced features. Apple maps auto-cache actually saves double the data of Google maps offline mode.
Lol, just like the iPhone 4S last year, it has weathered the initial hate storm, and come out renewed, a great smartphone.
i thnk there is nothing like iphone in this world of cell phones..

What are the here and theres you are referring too? Please don't come up with the b.s "purple haze" or "map" problem.. I take these minor issues over inconsistent phone problems, page reboots when flipping it to horizontal view, call drops, phone reboots, application reboots, chosing a video to watch and it loads up another video, inferior applications to its the ios, and encountering at least one random glitch per day.
and yes, i'm referring to the s3. Android will never be fixed.

I decided to do scratch test on a white ip5 at the apple store. NO scratch marks appeared. This is the same unit that is sampled by hundreds per day. No scratch marks on it. It was a white unit. That being said, I think it be stupid not to get a protective case for your ip5. The scratch is greatly exaggerated by iphone 5 haters. Trust me. You don't believe me? go to your local apple store and just scratch away. Of course i'm not saying grab a knight. Just use your normal finger nails and scratch it.

I love it how these iphone5 haters, research the internet, to see what flaws are in the ip5. Then pose as an ip5 user, and complain about it. Example Purple haze. What purple haze. Million of complainers. I Only a know a few people who own the ip5, and they have they dont know anything about a purple, haze. Probably a minor glitch, that is so minor. But these posers will pretend they own the phone and complain about it. I used itès maps and its works fine. Maybe because I live in the city.
