I have been using iPhone 4S since 10 months. What I have learnt from my experience is that iPhone is not just about what things you can do with it but how you do it. Other phones might have 100s of features which are not there in iPhone. Some might be useful of them but most are implemented just for the sake of differentiating with iPhone. They are seldom useful. On the other hand loads of features that iPhone have are much much better implemented on it than competition. Just a bigger screen does not makes a phone hugely advanced than a smaller screen phone.

[deleted post]o yea? then y iphone 5 sold out so quickly? even in singapore.. let me say.. 90% of singaporean use iphone... S 3 is too big for a hand and it fall easily.. and i always accidently push the side button..

AS compare with iphone and samsung s3 .... i phone has still old designs and then getting jail break no freedom..... i was user of i phone4 but not samsung s3 i am satisfied with it,.... as compare to to phone 5 i still recomened s3

Apple goes for the philosophy of designing something as well as possible, and as timeless as possible. It then polishes that design. This is what it has also done on its MacBooks and iMacs.
What you then get are beautiful timeless smartphones, which are portals to apps, the highlight of iOS.
Android's focus is on hardware, because manufacturers all use same the same OS. Unfortunately this leads to wastage as manufacturers are constantly needing to introduce new hardware, leaving phones obsolete within months, and reducing value.
The iPhone market is much more stable and iPhones retain value more because of this.

All phones have their own specifications. IOS requires minimum instruction per second than ANDROID os which is more complex. That's why for an ANDROID phone like I am using, it needs more CPU strength to handle the instructions per second.
Observe the windows phone like LUMNIA phones, at 800mhz CPU still running smooth.
I used Xperia arc s, optmus black, lumnia, e5, e72, and now my latest S3. But I also used I phone 4s, but not mine LOL. Just borrowed from a friend.
All I can say they have their own PRO and CONS,
Sample: in S3 graphics are very detailed, I played dead trigger, counter strike mobile etc. it runs so smooth, while in the 4S it sometimes lag in 3d games.
But when it comes to handling I prefer 4s coz I can text smoothly unlike S3 which is much bigger.

iSJ5, 04 Oct 2012note 2 is publet not phone so you cant compare this with iphone 5.how can you say that ?
Note II is the present King of Android super smarphone and is on the way to flattened iphone 5 markets.
just keep watching for a couple of weeks !

iPhone 5 seems to be OK at first but why did they not include the Wifi Hotspot feature, as they had in previous iPhone. Very disappointing as I still be have to carry a pocket wifi to be able to share on the run.

[deleted post]you do not need quadcore for iOS. even a single core iOS will run smoother than android or any other OS'es. quadcore is just a stupid gimmick for mobile devices.

never had iphone before but decided to get iphone5,very impressed but the fact that i cant connect to a lot of other bluetoothed phones mean i cant swap photos ect with friends and family :(

iphone 4 was defected(bad signal reception), iphone 4s was defected some phones(short battery life), iphone 5(bad camera and some models are scratched). IOS is faster because it has no homescreens, no widgets, no developed rooms. ios compare to android has less future of app and software development. Iphone 5screen is new so all apps will be shown in smaller screen size(cuted). i dont like apple when they started iphone4. i liked 3gs a lot for design and comfort. i think lg optimus G will be best
