Android has that spec since december 2010(2.3 gingerbread release date),what a shame;incredible 4"screen (like the first Galaxy S in 2010),A6 CPU Dual Core 1 GHz like Galaxy S2, i have a Quad Core 1.4Ghz CPU in my S3, front camera 1.2Mp Iphone 5 vs 1.9Mp in S3. Just wait for Jelly Bean official OS updating in October for make a software comparison..

- There's less bloatware on the devices because Apple is wants the end user experience to be as smooth and easy as possible.
- iOS apps are all natively compiled while Android is Java. Java is a managed language and incurs a lot of overhead.
- There's less variations on the hardware, so for iOS, the hardware abstraction software layer is probably much thinner and more optimized.

Cretin, 22 Sep 2012.......NFC(my pocket wallet), Google maps, and my favourite inbuilt You Tube applications on i... moregoogle has finished the maps for IOS6 and has been submitted to Apple for approval.Cannot be bothered watching you tube on any poxy mobile phone screen,,NFC over the world is rare as hens teeth,until all the banks agree on a standard not much use.
As for these smarttags who really uses them and they are quite dear..You actually need 2 NFC smartags per operation because say you enter your bedroom and it dims screen sets fone to silent and activates bedside clock,,,you then need another smartag to bring you back to how your fone was before you entered the bedroom.

A friend of mine bought one. It's incredibly lite, but he's already got a couple scratches in the back because of it rubbing on a metal snap when he stuffed it in his blue jean pocket. So get a cover because the alum back is not durable. It's sooo much faster than the iphone 4s, but why is there STILL no external memory slot? Oh yea, get on the cloud (what a crock - like that's more convenient.)
Big criticism is the Apple map app. It sucks big time. Can't find any of my favorite restaurants around me here in Bangkok. I don't think this would have happened were Steve Jobs still around. He would have forgone the corporate profits because it was more important to have pride in what his company produced. He knew the profits would come. This is not a good omen for the company in my opinion.
