Very disappointed, no innovation.
I think that I will buy Windows Phone 8 this time from samsung or Nokia.
Cant wait to have it!!
this phone's design was beautifully made by Apple and i like the back panel of the phone but again, Apple may have used a dual core cpu on this baby and just an 8mp camera because in a year time, Apple will release the same design but with the name iPhone 5S! nice marketing strategy Apple! lol ;D
well, Apple should thank Samsung for its chipsets, LG for the lovely screen and for the great camera, it should be Sony to thank for! lol ;D
Guys read the dictionary definition of innovation
:- The introduction of something new.
Any sized screen is not new, it's just bigger or smaller.
A Faster processor is not innovative just faster at doing things.
The Iphone 5 is innovative because of the way it's made, using techniques and processes not used to make phones before. Yes their are less innovations here than in previous models, but never has a phone been created this well, this precise, this beautiful.
If the screen works well for the UI and usability of the device, and if the processor is fast enough for smooth operation, who gives a damn which is faster or bigger?
However, The design language is looking old now and Nokia's Lumia is looking fresher, wtih the pureview cameras having innovative features for a smartphone. :)
Apple's iOS still rocks and is by far the most secure, robust and easy to use UI out there, never mind its great eco system of games, apps, music, films etc
whats wrong with apple cant it be smart for once, why cant it make good phones like samsung or any other androi phone. same size no card slot and the worst app store ever. and it has nothing for free it has no bluetooth that can send to non apple phones
This iphone is the worst ever design from apple! I'd rather they keep the 3.5 screen than this...not much new features either...nothing that the other cp companies don't already have...I'm sticking to my iphone 4s...My most direct opinion? This iphone 5 sucks! bigtime! :(
BLU, 14 Sep 2012Guys?... If i buy Iphone 5 in US, will i be able to use it here in the PhilippinesNo you wouldn't be able to use it unless the Nano-Sim cards are released by your local carriers (which I highly doubt). You cannot cut a regular, USIM or Micro SIM to fit the iPhone 5.
1. Regular Sim's chip area is too big even when cut to size and also it is 15% thicker than a Nano Sim.
2. If you try to cut a USIM to nano size you will have to find a way to shave or sand down 15% of the sim card's thickness in order for it to hopefully fit - highly doubt it would work.
3. Micro SIM's have the same thickness as a regular or USIM and therefore you would still have to cut and sand it down to try and fit it - which again I highly doubt
So unless your country's carriers are planning to stock the iPhone 5 (For most third world countries - I'll say a definite no and you can take my word for it) you can't use the iPhone 5 - unless if you can find a way to shave or sand down the 15%.
iphone5 our expectation is more but they r disappointment compare then latest android version phone its feature is outdated
Honestly, most apple fans would not care if the iPhone 5 was the same thickness as the iPhone 4S but came in the new design maintaining the Micro Sim which is more flexible as a world phone. It would have been a true world phone supporting all networks with the current micro sim and supporting normal sims that can be cut into a micro sim. But No!!! they have to make the sim even smaller and 15% thinner so that even if you cut a normal USIM it may still not fit in the iPhone 5. In some countries where USIMs are not even available (only the large chip is available) you can't even use the device as the chip area is still too big. As for the USIM available only countries even if you cut it to fit you would have to sand it down by 15% and risk a big chance of it not working. If only it would have kept the Micro Sim, it would have been the perfect device supporting all networks worldwide along with the new LTE networks.
hunk randy , 14 Sep 2012what could be the price of i5 ???Its amazing im crazy about this phone its cos is just 200 dollars
Anonymous, 14 Sep 2012Apple made the greatest innovation since 2007 the screen size of iphone is 3.5" and now i... moreScreen size?? bro, it didn't meet my satisfaction... If it was 4.8 or 5,then it would've been worthy to pay more than 50K.
Yes its a new thing for apple, but lets guess, iphone 2g to 4s they didn't change on size. Whats a stupid job by apple, latest smartphones has 4.7 to 5inch screen with so faster processor. Then why iphone is trying to be smart. You know guys iphone 5 still a looser cause still not flash support on browser, and still no any home screen and widgets support. Then how can we say its a perfect smartphone? I'm not fan of samsung but still Gs3 is the best ever...
Guys?... If i buy Iphone 5 in US, will i be able to use it here in the Philippines

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2012Survey indicates 32% of Android owners and 56% of Blackberry owners ready to buy iPhone 5. ... moreLeave the Blackberry users out of the question and for Android, starting from S2 and up, I don't think there is anyone who seriously consider to buy an iphone 5, maybe the survey was done on Wildfire users.

I agree with everything you said so far, except Windows, think of this: Mac is running on 1 type of hardware (optimized) and Windows runs even on your grandma's washing machine if you struggle a little bit. You pay 2000 $ for a Mac Book Pro and 500 $ on a Dell Inspiron, can you compare? Buy a top notch ThinkPad and test a Windows XP or Windows 7 and do the comparison.
