I'd rather get the Xperia V, it's even faster than the Galaxy S3 and is water resistant.
Apple is giving chance to other brands to catch up in the smart phone market...
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2012Android has dropped flash tooAndroid made flash non-stock, and that's a lot different from "dropping", it. So yea using flash on my s3 is a breeze and fun =@
Absolutely disappointing.... with this, Apple loosing it all to Google and Nokia and Windows phones....
I must say, I'm really disappointed :(
I expected a quad core processor and NFC sharing but to have neither...it's a big let down on Apple's part. Apple has not done anything out of the box and instead delivered this clunker of soon-to-be-obsolete piece of technology. We all know that Apple is not the first in the race when it comes to hardware, but even so, there is a thing such as keeping up with times. In a time when not one, but multiple smartphones are offering quad cores, dual core seems a thing of yesterday. By opting for a dual core, Apple has set itself behind the clock by a year. Sure, the new phone is decent and will manage to sell among the Apple fanbase (most probably people with iPhone 3G or 3GS), but being the trend setter, iPhone 5 leaves a lot to be desired. As one of the biggest business empires, it wouldn't hurt to invest a little more in hardware, right? And not having NFC...that's a megaLOL...I mean, even Nokia, which is trying to catch up with times has NFC sharing on it's current flagship (just for the record, I was really impressed by Lumia 920. I didn't think Nokia had it left in them.) but for the latest iPhone to not have one...I'm speechless.
Of course, those die hard fans out there will say crap such as, "it's the software which matters, not the hardware." To them I say BITCH PLEASE. To have software and not hardware is like having the mental capability to do something, but get restricted due to physical limitations. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the casual Apple fans will switch over to Android (I am one of them). The only people who will this poor excuse for a next generation iPhone will be the hardcore fans and the technically challenged (i.e. those who don't know much about technological gadgets). In other words, iPhone 5 will sell only due to Apple's brand name. There is nothing extraordinary about this iPhone, apart from the fact that it is the latest iPhone.
One word to describe iPhone 5 : Predictable
The iPhone 5 is based off of technology that was present in Android and Windows Phone 7 devices released a year and a half ago. If you want a smart phone that is cross compatible with all platforms pickup an Android Device. If you want a great starter smart phone get a Windows Phone 7 device.
A6 is twice of A5 performance
no need to tell u that its quad processor
phone can't be touched by viruses looool is still the best even Apple didn't develop much
but not as expected
poor hadware iphone 5 have no hd scereen any only 4 inch i think lumia 920 wins
Whats happening? Is that INNOVATION? Better off dead for apple!
Time to use Lumia 920.
Pretty big let down. Apple is once again playing catchup to Android. They are feeling right at home in this position it seems. Sad because Apple could of hit a home run with this one but dropped the ball instead.
I have iphone 4 and if I am going to change it I will go to Nokia Lumia 920 for sure .
Code Name:Firstly Iphone 4, Furtherly 4S, Finally should be 4S+,instead . . . .Oh Apple!
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2012There is no point bumping up clock speed while single core can run ios smoothly. screen size l... moreOh man! I dunno how many people on earth think the same like you do. 3.5 inch screen is enough, 8mp camera is enough, or probably design is good enough,......hahahaha that means no innovation at all! u are a very loyal fanboy! Apple should give you a new I-phone4ss, oh sorry I-Phone5.hahahaha
It's still dual core and not quad core, no java and radio, no card slot... not competitive with quad core smartphones...
