With all the patent wars, minor adjustments and manipulations so as to launch new gadgets, i think the time for some change is closing on. Probably device manufacturers will make devices with capable hardware to run IOS, Android, Windows 8 etc. Then it will be upto the consumer to decide which OS to buy??? Am sure there are many huddles to this but i think it would work well, that is from a consumer's point of view.
