I really want to know if there even is anyone out there that uses this phone as their daily driver and does NOT have another phone.
It's great and surprising to see that quite many people are still using this phone. I've bought mine the same time it has been released and never regretted! Small size is just perfectly fitting in my hand, plastic casing is less prone to overheating in comparison with metal one. However, memory is, of course, not enough any more for any multimedia content or apps, but just fine for simple operation (calls, messages, internet browser). The only real issue I had was battery, which I replaced a while ago myself (oh yeah, design in repair-friendly, back then iPhones were not using adhesives to seal the display). Overall, super high quality and nice design, though it's outdated :( So in 2018, i'd say the best buying option would be either refurbished iPhone 7 (still easier to repair if needed than 8 or X) or SE.

AnonD-732564, 26 Feb 2018iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c?Iphone 5 is the same as Iphone C but the 5 has a more premium build of metal. But C has plastic. But i would pick the 5 becuse the metal.
i have the IPhone 5c in blue and it works perfect, i have 1 problem. With the camera, the back camera when i try to take photos it freezes up and will only let me take photos with the front camera. i recently dropped it in water and the battery goes down quicker but other than that its fine. I just got the IPhone 5s and the camera works fine?! I dont understand..........
AnonD-735184, 04 Feb 2018I recently lost my Android phone, and needed a cheap replacement. The 5c fills the bill. No, i... moreYou should try looking up budget android phones and would be smiler price but larger screen e.g. Huawei p8 lite and Sony Experia L1.
I recently lost my Android phone, and needed a cheap replacement. The 5c fills the bill. No, it doesn't have a new quadcore, or octacore. Yes, it only has 1GB of ram. But, if you're like me, and all you really use your phone for is phone calls, texting, and occasional searches on the internet, you don't actually need much power. My only real complaint is the size. After you've gotten used to a 5+ inch screen, swapping to a 4 inch screen is somewhat annoying.
Today i get new Iphone 5C Green color, but i dont know what is the performance, i hope it is good working.
