Pil, 23 Dec 2013I'm using iPhone since its launch to till date with its latest arrivals, whereas android also ... moreI agree that there r lots of malwares in the world however same applicable for ios and i have also used ios however the productivity and mutitasking on note3 is much better and very usefull with split screen and just use stock browser on note3 it offers lots of options u will forget safari...and wud never want to switch..
I used to be an iPhone fan, but that was before I actually used an iPhone... After playing around with my mom's iPhone 5 and my brother in laws Samsung Galaxy S3, I have to say that I prefer Android. My next phone will be the LG G2.
Rpk, 22 Dec 2013look i think you know that why android is slower than ios. Because in background all app still... moreI can play 2 to 3 gameloft games + 2 to 3 browsers open at the same time ...and still do other misc stuff without any lags and ur question abt use of quad core processor made me LOL...i mean really r u that d.um.b !
Paragb, 21 Dec 2013U have hugh misunderstanding abt ANDROID my friend..I'm using iPhone since its launch to till date with its latest arrivals, whereas android also I do use them, but I feel the OS (android)itself as laggy and I feel Insecure when I surf web for my transactions on it. Few apps crash itself for no reason, these devices are prone to Virus, which affects the performance and prone to insecurity and overheats very quickly ....all..... As this is an free OS it happens dude..... How can u expect and compare with other OS in the market???? It is better for u to think once for a while whether mobile now a days is for playing games or regarding speed and security........Hope u Understand my point. First use an IPhone to its full extreme and then put comments k.im not supporting nor opposing any but telling u the facts.
Benjamin Phuah, 22 Dec 2013still 4 inch screen zzzz
to small for me Then why dnt u get urself a tv!....
Paragb, 21 Dec 2013U have hugh misunderstanding abt ANDROID my friend..So can you elaborate that by that is slower? it is a free os so optimization is not possible for each and every device. but apple can coz it's provide the os for it's device only.I have no headache about how many core and how much ram you have/My question is to you is that "is your device faster than mine?"
Apple doesn't not have any customization i know, and i does not need further home screen or something. All i need a faster device which can out perform any device and apple always does that.
Paragb, 21 Dec 2013Use jelly bean on note3 u will know what is smooooothness...look i think you know that why android is slower than ios. Because in background all app still runs even you close the app from mutlitasking. It is easy to say that if some apps are causing the lag on 1gb ram, they will run smooth on 2 gb.But there will be some additional apps or process there to make that phone lag.The main reason is that it doesn't matter how many ram you have if the os optimization is not good your device will lag eventually. Some times no of cores and gigs of Ram is not enough to make a device faster.A good coding can makes a device smooth with less cores and Ram.If the os is buggy you can not bring smoothness to it by adding cores and Ram
Now tell me which app you know that uses 4 cores at a time. It's samsung's marketing strategy to sell devices by adding cores and rams.Cause you will think more numbers means more faster. But you will face problem eventually
It is not the first 6months of use that differentiates an iPhone from the likes of Samsung Galaxies, Notes , HTC, Sony Experias, and LG, it's the following 18 months, you will then realise that the iPhone is worth every penny. Most of these phones work so well in the first 6 months that a lot of people are easily carried away, then the disaster in function and screen abnormality now begins until the owner is forced to buy a new android device but iPhone more or less functions same way through out its life span except some mild drop in battery life which is expected and that's why it has a good resale value which is also one of the important things to consider before buying a smartphone and not just jump into these android bandwagon of 8cores , 4g Ram etc.
apple_fanatic, 22 Dec 2013Android boasts so much with specs..2 gb,3 gb rams..quad core, octa core processors hd screen an... moreNokia Lumia 520 is better than iPhone 5S. Both has same size and specs. Even Lumia 520 is very smooth and fast than iPhone 5S. I personally tested it. You can also check. Lumia 520 has SD card support which is very useful. iPhone 5S no Sd card but finger print reader which is not at all useful feature. So lumia 520 is better than iphone 5S.
Android boasts so much with specs..2 gb,3 gb rams..quad core, octa core processors hd screen and stuff.
but still iphone 5s with a dual core processor and 1 gb ram blows android out of the water.
customization mite be a problem but apple makes up for it with the seamless interface and brilliant features.
ppl say apple is not innovating enuf..
the siri forced others to come up with their own versions...the IRIS
64 bit processor has been a big game changer forcing all other companies to rethink their chips.
touch id is putting pressure on other companies to come up with a hassle free method.
Apple is always and continue to charm us fans. only ppl who don't understand what an iphone really is keep saying shit about it..!!
Anonymous, 21 Dec 2013Or next century...Better luck next year or nxt century?
If you compare tha sales. Iphone pretty much smashed note 3 and s4 combined. Hahahaha. Now. Goodluck to you apple haters.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2013thats cause its the only phone youve ever used, Wait till you move to android!I have plenty of android devices. My latest was Galaxy S4.But what i was searching was fluidity and smoothness which can never be found in android devices.I know there are more customization in the OS,but failed to deliver smoothness. You can find more number of cores and more GBs of ram,but my friend i tell you apple doesn't need this kind of brute force because it's software optimization is so good it can run on lower core and memory. It can handle anything. Now people can't get their hands on iPhone because it's too pricey, but when you do you will feel the difference.
#samsungkings, 18 Dec 2013Better Luck Next Year Apple :)Or next century...
Good compact size..not bulky like other high end phones..attractive design.. both side camera can be higher pixels..so is the battery life and speed..not value for money
