Wrong! Its going to be same size as iPhone 6. But i hope too that they do smaller iPhone too, but its not iPhone 6s.
For those who intend to get this iphone 6 I must said the battery life is so so. The screen is fabulous but then I'm still not getting use to 2 hand operations whereby I can do with one hand on my previous iphone 5 and that's a trade off with a larger screen. I still think Steve Job is right which insist then anything bigger then that would be of no use as a phone! The other complain this design is slim which it's good but doesn't think it have a strong grip on the phone which make it dangerous to slip of your hand without a bumper. Overall If I have a choice I would wait for the iphone 6s which suppose to be a traditional 4" screen which make perfect sense!
Duel, 23 Feb 2015"And a 8 MP camera in 2015? Really? So basically I phone cameras are still in age of 2012... moreNoone is brainwashed here but you! To say something like that about the camera of iPhone... The truth is so obvious, you just have to look the pictures on monitor or TV or just blow them up just a bit to see their low quality!
I love it, but then I hate it. It's not the phone, it's the carrier. I'd had a 4S for several years. I was given an iPhone 6 as a gift. Excited, yes. Until I realized the antennae wasn't nearly as powerful as my 4S. After two months of listening to my calls go directly into voicemail while the phone sits on my desk at work, I'm going to have to try another phone, or go back to my 4S. It's not the phone, it's a combination of the carrier and the phone. iPhone 6 Verizon has four bars in my office-I have two on a good day, usually just one. Which majorly sucks. If my phone is moved, the call drops!
In my home, where my carrier has a tower up on my Town's water tower-2 bars!
The one thing I do dislike, a great deal, too, it's very easy to accidentally delete emails. The home button and the trash can are way too close for comfort. Having had and iPad for five years, the thought of going to an Android system scares me to death. But, missing important calls is a heck of a lot more frightening.
I personally think that Apple have to cut down the price of their phone's. There is a lack of cutting edge technology in the phones coming out and apart from a few hardware improvements there are no major changes that deserve this price range. Plus i'm sure most would agree that there are a few basic features non existent that should be implemented into IOS.
yo_hoho, 24 Feb 2015Try a z2 with the given headset then talk ;) I did, then went back to my old iphone 4 that still sounds better and louder. All stand alone quality music players have digital audio codec chips (DAC) installed inside them just to process audio. Sony has them in their Walkman series MP3 players but not in their phones. Hence, iphones are music players first and phone and other things second.
Seems that the battery is not worse than ip5 and ip5s. Working all day until 3pm for the next charging!!!
I have only had the phone a couple of days, I really like it with one exception. The power button is now on the side. When I squeeze it to put phone to sleep, I'm also pressing the buttons on the other side. Would prefer the button to be placed back on the top.
iUser, 24 Feb 2015its not just 8mp go read more about the iSight camera and get some hands on the practical par... moreThe person control the OS which in turn the OS control the camera module.
iOS hides all the complexity from the user.
Android throws all function available to the user, its like saying "there! I don't care how you take a picture, just tweak it yourself!"
While Android showing more function is good for experience photographers. iOS works for all ages.
As for 8MP or 16MP, it does not show the quality of the sensor, or how much light is focus on the sensor. But by reviews of photograph of iPhones, you can tell the 8MP sensor is awesome compared to competing brands of 13MP or 16MP.
Always remember, its the OS that uses the camera module, not the person. And when it comes to capturing life's best moments, its better to rely on the fast action of a computer OS then human reaction. iPhone 6 does that very well, all pictures comes out perfect.
its not just 8mp go read more about the iSight camera and get some hands on the practical part of it.....you'll realize why instagram was first an only iOS app

lossprevention, 24 Feb 2015Thank you for your comment, you are probably correct, I was just trying to bring across that f... moreOnce and for all folks, I had no intention of bashing Iphone and I really don't think I did, All I wanted to say was it is not for me, at least right now, I seem to have sparked a feud among users of both which was not my intent, however I do believe I have the right to voice my concerns in both the turbo reviews has well as the iphone reviews since I HAVE had both, or had, I have the discussions with both my sons who are in their mid thirties and there is a lot they disagree with as well. I believe all of us are stubborn when it comes to our preferences but that's good not a bad thing. Yes I do try to learn even at my age but it is hard to change at my age. I originally only wanted to ask some questions and also voice my feeling and somehow it got turn around into a pissing match. I could care less if its android or ios. Which ever phone works best for you is what I was trying to bring across, Im not going to mention any of my concerns anymore in this setting, I believe it just breeds more questions and issues than constructive answers.
xHannibal Lecter, 24 Feb 2015Duel look ... I have years of android , and only android , i never owned a iphone before , and... more"till there are futures in android that i love and i would love to have on ios ( like the button to close all apps at once"
I think the reason why that button doesnt exist is that Apple doesnt want you to close those apps. Its not like android you can leave everything "open" so if you want that option to keep the multitask bar clean i understand, but if you want to use it to close all the apps because they might slow your device etc. dont worry, you can leave everything in the multitasking window, for example i have 75 apps there currently :)
Sta-ko, 24 Feb 2015Sadly Tuchwizz is the moust $*ity and laggy android platform i have ever seen. It's shame that... moreWell they dont give a damn about fixing touchwizz , and about apps on ios well not as many free as on android but still the ones on andro are not trully free...full of adds and if you want to get rid of them you buy non add version, ofc you have root but also on ios you have jailbreak , both mmethods voids you're warranty so not such a big differance... oh and i forgot the KNOX on sammy .... it just drives me out of my mind!!!
Duel, 24 Feb 2015Lets face the fact, if you have used android for years and try iPhone for a week, you cant lea... moreDuel look ... I have years of android , and only android , i never owned a iphone before , and now after a week i can say i learned alot about it , and for me , i repeat for me is the best phone i can have, it suits all my needs. And yes maybe i am arrogant but after one week i can say that i am not going back for android. And no i didnt buy the phone for the image or for being fancy , there are alot of phones that look really hot. I bought it to give iPhone a try and i am not dissapointed at all. A user few comments before asked me about bugs in the ios 8 ... well seriously ? Android has hundreds and hundreds of bugs that no one gives a fk for fixing them and i can let you know that in ios 8.1.3 allmost everything is fixed. I am not saying that ios is the best or iPhone is the best phone ever , still there are futures in android that i love and i would love to have on ios ( like the button to close all apps at once , landscape everywhere , or plug in and use it as a media drive , even though i send files on iphone with "send anywhere" app , from pc or android and is alot more faster and more convinient for me , to not stick in and out the usb all the time...about the micro sd card... i dont miss it , 64 gb are more than enough for me , and i can back up everything through cloud dropbox etc and have them on pc with just a click , and the list can go on with pro's and con's ) Just a little reminder everything i said i refeer only to me , myself and I ! I dont claim iPhone is better than any android phone or anything else , it is just better for me . And i dont care i paid much more than it is worthin and i could buy something better with that money , i dont need something better and i am satisfied with what i need and have...
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2015He was making a rhetorical question in the droid turbo section. Please educate yourself....
I... moreIts a good product. Its engineered to perfection. You have to see the phone in real life, to appreciate how good it looks, and how well it performs. Just like a watch, you never ask what processor is running in the watch, so long as it shows you accurate time. Same with iPhones. Its the results that counts.
I do not know whats the hate with all the comments here, but i can tell you. Besides connecting to non-Apple devices. This phone rocks!
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2015Dude... Turbo is not really good..its using a 32bit cpu, with a 64bit ram gimmick. Same issue ... moreThank you for your comment, you are probably correct, I was just trying to bring across that for ME I like the turbo for my needs, I'm not naive enough to think its the best,I just am trying to understand why apple users will denie that their iphones also might not be the best. But I do appreciate any good information instead of feelings,so thank you.
