That's also why games get hot on quad cores because those games aren't programmed to use multiple cores. The quad core is better for every day performance because it'll do every single thing faster than a dual core like sending messages and boot up time will be faster (2.5ghz quad core) and you'll also notice that phones with quad cores run very fast while multitasking and can have apps open for a long time. So to be honest games would be the same on a android phone and apple phone but android phones do everything else faster than iphone like opening apps, restarting faster, sending messages faster, running apps that support multiple cores etc.
kevin, 12 Jan 2015how to save photos from iphone 6 to pc (windows). because i cant see the icon in the computerJust make sure the iPhone is unlocked first. Otherwise the iPhone will be found in 'My Computer' but all of the content on it will be invisible and inaccessible. If you run into that, all you need to do is touch the iPhone, unlock the screen and enter the passcode, and all of your stuff will be visible as expected.

Intel laptops all uses dual cores. Number of transistors is a better measurement.. And Apple chip have always the highest count.
Cores are not a measurement of performance. Just marketing gimmick for those people who do not find out more about the cpu.. Thus get cheated.
Duel, 12 Jan 2015And that dual core is most fastest and smoothest device in the market, so what that tells abou... moreOptimizing can only do that much, the truth is that Apple has very powerful CPUs so even if there are only two of them each core have higher IPC than any other CPU, and higher IPC means higher single threaded performance and that is important in real life usage.
Android would run very fast on Apple A7 or A8, it wouldnt win all the benchmarks but it would win for day to day performance. I think everyone agree that Nexus 9 with its powerful dualcore is outperforming most other Android devices, and Apple A8 is even more powerful than that.
Yesterday i was watching live feedof ballon d'or ceremony and suddenly right side of my headphone stopped working , then after few mins it started working again this kept on happening thrice.
I tried listening to songs to check the headphones but it was alright
Should i go to applestore and share my problem or is it okay guys
Plzz help me wat to do i'm bit worried about this issue .
Anonymous, 12 Jan 2015Dual-Core 1.4Ghz proccessor what year is it, 2010?I think it's because iOS 8 is less "resource hungry" operating system in comparison to others.
It's a brilliant phone! It is beautifully crafted, it is fast, the screen is really bright and crisp and it just works with all my other Apple products.
The only issues I have with it are minor, but still worth mentioning:
- The on/off button is moved to the side, which takes some getting used to.
- The headphone jack is in the bottom (I guess it has been since iPhone 5). This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I never have the phone upside-down in my pocket anyway.
- The camera lens is slightly extruded from the case, which I find is somewhat disturbing for the design of the phone. I would much rather have the entire phone be 1 mm. thicker (which would also allow for a bigger battery) and have the sense not sticking out.
Even with these 3 minor "issues", it is still a really great phone.

So why you think iOS devices runs every game perfectly and with android you can get very different results, again OPTIMIZATION actually lack of it. Same goes for iOS devices general they are perfectly optimized with the hardware. Android devices arent optimized with their hardware just like windows pc's arent.
Look the video about first iPhone back in 2007 and look how well it worked, with that kind of hardware you would never expect it to run like that. Or go back in time in pc world, think games like first need for speed games, there is great example what optimization can do thinking how powerless computers we had then.
Also look the iOS metal api updated games, Apple again showing that they actually get even more power out of their device and made possible for. devs to go even further where android devices simply cant go.

The iphone doesn't need quad core because the iOS is small, simple and cool. Android phones need quad core processors coz there are a lot of apps and settings on the OS. I prefer Android because there's a lot you can do than iOS.
dose iphone 6 4G+ LTE advance supported ??
can anyone suggest me please ??
The iPhone 6 is really cool. I have a Sony Z3 Compact and I was battling to choose between the two. I wish I could have both phones but iPhone 6 is very expensive. Using the iPhone made me feel better about my decision. What I like about the iPhone is that it feels good in the hand and I also like the fingerprint thing. I made my own little battery test with these phones and I swiched off all battery saving modes. I then used both phones moderately from 7:30 to 22:00 throughout the day yesterday. I also made sure that the screen brightness of both phones was set to auto. I started at 100% with the iPhone 6 and at 15:30 I had to charge it because it was at 11%. I liked the iPhone 6 coz when I get a message a banner appears on top so I can read the message easily. With the Z3 Compact I started at 100% and at 15:30 I had 84% and at 22:00 I had 61%. With the Z3 Compact I liked that it suggested I switch Stamina mode on coz I had it on standby for a long time when I was first using the iPhone 6. It also feels very comfy - I think Sony copied Apple with that somehow. With both phones I sent a lot of bbm messages, had 4G on, sent and received exactly 14 Whatsapp messages, browsed the internet for about 2 hours and listened to music for about 4 hours. Just wanted to recommend the Z3 compact to all iphone users that are tired of their iphones.

One word optimization, big numbers on paper doesnt mean anything if the device isnt optimized.

Hi! all iPhone user. If you have lots of money, buy Samsung's Note 4 and use it with your iPhone than practically compare both.
